I stayed at the Hassayampa Inn for one night - and since the rates were so reasonable, I opted for a one bedroom suite. The rooms are not particularly large - as the Hassayampa is an old historic hotel - so I found my corner suite just the ticket. Reserving my room online via the hotel's website was simple and...

Spent one night here, wish I had time to stay longer. The hotel is beautiful, obviously an older building, but in great shape. Ashlee at the front desk was great, very informative and helpful. We got a ride on the 1927 elevator, which is an experience. The room, although old, was clean and very comfortable. We went to happy hour...

Planning a wedding? Don't expect a full night of rest after a late wedding reception. Rates aren't as bad as I expected, but honestly we looked at a couple other local hotels first and just didn't book in time to get a room at one. Every time we've been to Hassayampa (Bridal Expo, Lunch, Friends staying) I've been impressed with...

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. I apologize that you were woken up by a "vacuum cleaner" and other noises at 7am and I will definitely look in to that as our housekeeping team do not start their shift till 8am. I am available to discuss your concerns at your convenience to attempt to address and...

The Hassayampa Inn hosted our wedding in May 2017. Stephanie was our Catering Manager and she couldn't have done a better job for us. Stephanie's attention to detail, combined with her excellent suggestions helped make our day special and really classy. Hats off to the Chef, Food and Beverage Coordinator, all the kitchen, wait staff and bartenders. We had over...

I stayed at the Inn to help teach a class for 4 days. It is old but tastefully refurbished as they tried to keep the 1800 ambiance. the bed was comfortable, AC worked good and it houses the oldest elevator in AZ. The restaurant and bar are convenient with other establishments within walking distance. I would return with my wife...

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Hassayampa Inn in mid May to attend a friends wedding. We arrived very late on a Friday night (11:30pm) and upon our arrival we were able to park right on the street in front of the hotel. As I discovered the next morning there is a hotel parking lot across the street. Despite...

It's a great inn close to the many restaurants, bars and downtown. I do agree with the walls of the room that you can hear other rooms or the hallway. It's not kids friendly so I do not recommend for the families with kids. It's great for a weekend getaway for the couples!

I always try to stay in old hotels when I have a opportunity to do so. The Hassayampa Inn is well preserved and artfully decorated in the classic old west style. The rooms are small by current standards but have a charm of days gone by. The hotel is located 2 blocks from the Town Square and Legendary Whiskey Rows historical...

The Hassayampa is a historic hotel with a fun lobby and the original 1920's elevator which requires staff to operate it. The staff are friendly and helpful - at the desk and the restaurants and bar. The rooms are clean and the bed comfortable (though I'm not sure why they have such small pillows) It is a great location for...

Hello David, Thank you for your review. We appreciate your taking the time to do so. A few areas I would like to address for those who may read your review. Our elevator is the original 1927 elevator built on the property. Therefore it does have to be run by a trained staff member. We strive to make sure that...

Beautiful historic hotel with a very tasteful breakfast included. Relaxing lobby with historic pictures of Prescott. Walking distance to shops and courthouse. A must see in winter when they decorate the square. Easy to get around town.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Known as the Grand Dame of Prescott, the Hassayampa Inn was built as a luxury Hotel in 1927 to entice Phoenix tourists to flee the summer heat. Nostalgic elegance with a restored 1920's style lobby, little has changed since the Inn first opened its doors 81 years ago, but every modern amenity you'd expect a 21st century hotel to offer, including high speed wireless internet. Enjoy world class cuisine in the ultra-fashionable, yet comfortable, Peacock Dining Room. Live jazz is frequent in the leisurely Cowboy Bar. Prescott's world-famous Courthouse square is a mere block away with endless boutiques and antique stores. ... more   less
