Spent five nights here for a conference. The hotel is very clean and seems to have been recently renovated. Lobby is very nice and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was close to the elevator but did not seem to be a problem. The only noise we heard were loud guests in the middle of the night...

I was in Phoenix for a conference. I found this hotel at the last minute. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very modern and had a decent view. I will definitely stay here again. Close to just about every major spot in downtown Phoenix

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and were very happy. It's within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. The valet parking was expensive but very courteous. The hotel itself was modern, clean, update and pleasant. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was updated and clean. The complementary toiletries in the...

was great but the bar sucked....$7 for a beer that they give you in a plastic cup? and the bartender, she was not worth much....no smiling, no talking just not enjoying her job. ended up just waking down the street to have some drinks where we were appreciated. rest of experience at hotel was the normal awesomness of a Marriott.

I am so sorry about your experience in our bar! That is not the way we ever want our guests feel. It's nice to hear the rest of your stay was awesome, and I sincerely hope you'll come back to see us. Safe travels ~

Being Marriott members, we booked the Renaissance in downtown for the location and points on an overnight to AZ for work. Very happy upon arrival to see what a beautiful hotel it was. Great front desk service. Nice clean rooms. Starbucks and a nice restaurant bar in the lobby. Great outdoor area off the fifth floor. Location was perfect. Will...

Third time at this property. Never disappoints! Perfect location in heart of Phoenix. Walking distance to Diamondbacks stadium and Talking Stick Resort to watch the Suns play. Lots of food choices and things to do within a 10-15 minute walk. Staff is amazing. Ben, Pam, Sarah and Andrew in the concierge lounge are the best!!! Miranda and John at the...

My stay at the Renaissance was absolutely wonderful! This was the host hotel for the Oregon Ducks - and the hotel staff was amazing during the busy weekend! Everyone from the valet attendees, to the front desk staff, the security, housekeeping staff, and the management.... were all very welcoming and provided A+ service. Also everyone had a positive attitude the...

This is my preferred hotel in Phoenix. The location is ideal, close to both the light rail and the convention center. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and I loved my room. The lobby restaurant has great eats and even better beer. Try their thin crust pizza's (although they are not called pizza). As a platinum rewards member I...

The staff at this hotel is wonderful, especially the folks in the concerige lounge. What a nice group of people. They all took time to speak to me, ask my name, inquire on my day/night, did I have questions about the area. Just very polite and pleasant to be around. They really made my day enjoyable. I am less picky...

Three star hotels are mediocre and this hotel is better than that but not by much. For starters, it's quite unattractive. As in, an architectural abomination. The staff is nice, no doubt. The rooms are clean and decently appointed. The layout of the bathrooms leaves a lot of to be desired. They are a bit small, have only one sink...

Our exterior design is quite vintage and very cool! It was re-built in the 1970's and we love how unique we are - that's the heart of being a Renaissance property - be unique! We can't have glass or china on the pool deck, so serve our guests in Eco-friendly disposable containers. I hope you had an opportunity to get...
