I stayed at The Duquesne House last weekend with my family. The rooms were beautifully decorated with Mexican tiles, handpainted furniture and colorful spreads. It was truly a feast for the eyes. The grounds were just as beautiful with flowering native plants and hummingbird feeders. Sitting areas were located around the grounds, so different groups could enjoy the gardens and...

We were with a birdwatching group and this was a perfect location. Our room was beautifully decorated with local art and antiques. We were lucky to get the studio which also had a small kitchenette. Breakfast was stunningly beautiful as well as substantial. The plates were decorated with edible flowers from the backyard garden. Three of us are gluten free...

We loved coming back each night to such a beautiful and peaceful home and yard (full of birds). Nancy and Ralph became quick friends. Quiet and private, with a garden full of comfortable seats for reading or watching birds. We had an extraordinary breakfast on our first morning. Neat place!

We went for a weekend get-a-way from Phoenix and to do some birdwatching in the area. The rooms are delightful, the yard is a beautiful multi -tiered garden, and the breakfast was amazing! The owners have decorated this historical home with Mexican folk art and unique pieces. They were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I hope to go back next year!

We had a great time in this B&B. Nancy and Ralph were wonderful and helpful hosts, our room was charming, breakfast was delicious, and the other guests we chatted with over breakfast were delightful. We'd definitely recommend the Duquesne House as a home base for exploring the area.

People often ask why do you choose a B and B when visiting an area? Our stay at Duquesne House helps to explain why. Days before we arrived, Nancy sent a follow up email addressing our late arrival. Knowing the area restaurants would be closing early she offered a number of recommendations for us to stop at before arriving. We...

We loved this bed and breakfast. The rooms were incredible and the breakfast was fabulous. I didn't expect much in such a small, Arizona town, but the entire experience was fabulous. For a romantic getaway, this place has it all. Besides the gardens, the decor and the breakfast, we saw an amazing number of hummingbirds in the garden. The Duquesne...

My friends and I have discovered the Duquesne House 5 years ago. We feel in love with the place! It has become our pit stop for local wineries, adventure to Bisbee, Tombstone, Patagonia Park and on this last visit we discovered Tubac. Nancy and Ralph always make us feel like we are all so special. With firewood for the patio...

This was our second time staying here this year. Once again, the suites were immaculately clean and Nancy's breakfast was fabulous! She had coffee ready for us at 5:30AM and we enjoyed drinking it in the beautiful garden patio. Our group stayed in the Margarite & Rollin R. Richardson suites.

When I made a reservation at The Duquesne House as a surprise night away for my husband's birthday, I didn't have high expectations. We didn't have a lot of time, so the location, an hour and a half away from our home, was about right. That's all I knew. When we arrived, we immediately and completely fell in love. Our...
