Detailed Reviews
The rooms are wonderful and very clean, ( the cleaning staff working very hard to accommodate any request) The management also followed through with any issues that arose, ie television not working, very quickly. The only thing that we found unsettling was a notice on the wall of our room listing what was in our room ( ie 2 teatowels) , and their worth,( ie $4. ) If any of these articles were missing from our room, the notice stated that we would be charged the amount listed. Whilst I understand the problems that can arise for hotels, this unfriendly notice meant that instead of relaxing and enjoying our arrival in this very nice hotel, we spent time doing an inventory! And not everything on the list was there, so then that had to be followed through....not a great start. It is easy to have people sign for the beach towels when they arrive but this list was not good.

We booked into samoana after having difficulties in Savaii with the ferry. The owner was absolutely wonderful and helped us to find accommodation when we were all feeling very stressed and unsure when we would be staying and how much it would cost! The owner helped us out tremendously and ensured we were taken care of. The facilities were good and we used the pool each day! Thankyou for our stay!

The staff was so friendly. The two bedroom suite we had was very spacious. It had air conditioning and ceiling fans. The suite included a kitchen and fridge. The bathroom was nice. Cute decor and beautiful paintings on the wall. There was a nice pool that my kids loved. The location was super convenient. There’s a cafe downstairs that had delicious coffee and food. Definitely recommend!

Sadly, we did not get to stay at the Samoana Boutique due to unforeseen problems with Hawaiian Air. The reason for the poor review is due to refund policy. We canceled our reservation over 10-days in advance and explained the situation to the proprietor. We understand this cancellation was not a result of their actions however we feel at least a partial refund could have been considered. The only reason we booked with Samoana Boutique was due to Sheraton Aggies Grey shutting down their hotel for renovations without notifying us so we had to scramble at the last minute to find a place. We are beyond upset about not being able to make this one in a lifetime visit.

Overall a really good experience at Samoana Boutique hotel. Travelled with our 2 families, 2 nice large spacious rooms is the plus, everything was pretty clean, and serviced well on arrival. My kids loved the rooms. Staff member was very helpful with our enquiries. Liked the big size of the rooms, and air con. Everything was there that we needed. Check in was easy. Thank you Samoana Boutique hotel and staff for accomodating us.

They hold your passport for bond and then you go to collect it and they tell you it's now at the airport waiting. Go catch your flight only to find out their office is closed. Luckily the aidling we flew with waited. Some fool dressed in shorts and a t-shirt who supposedly worked here finally arrived 30 minutes before my flight who also looked like he had just got out of bed with NO explanation as to why they didn't have my passport in the beginning. I then go to email them from nz for an explanation and guess what? They've blocked me. Pathetic! No staff communication & people who can't speak English.

Booked my parents into this Hotel and they loved it - The service and cleanliness was top notch - They recommend that my husband and children stay here when we visit Samoa every Year. From the late check-in to the early hours check-out was a smooth journey - No faults from their end.

I was recommended this Boutique Hotel by family and friends and am so glad to experience this manificent hotel. This boutique hotel is relatively new and I've been told still developing to cater for all different number of guests. It has a mixed quaint environment with its friendly service but its vernacular is mixed modern and its functionality. The friendly staff who serviced at reception were quite helpful with all my requirements and assisted with information I queried of local business. I wanted a quiet place to work in the two days I booked with little interruptions. My deluxe room with 2/double beds and all kitchenette facilities with a very spacious Bathroom suited me perfectly. The whole room would suit a family easily with amenities to suit. I had a dining table with plenty of power points suited for my set up and strong internet connection was able to work with ease and liaise with work colleagues back in NZ. The whole deluxe room set out is ergonomically and appropriately set out with plenty of space to move around. It had a shared balcony which I would recommend to the establishment putting a security screen between suites to avoid any angst amongst guests. Its at a great location and walking distance to centre of Apia. The Cafe near the Reception area serves very nice meals and reasonably priced coffee by their barista. If you have a family of 3-4, this room in this hotel will comfortably suit you. If your on business...this will be ideal for all conditions. I had the maids constantly knocking at my door in the morning to check if my room needed servicing...fortunately for them, one person who spends more time at the dining table working requires little attention....and I did'nt have time to relax on the long couch or watch tv. I highly recommend this hotel and especially because the owner of the establishment also owns one of the largest car rental company in Apia almost across the road from the Hotel....and if your visiting to watch the Manu Samoa play...Apia Park is across the road.

What a beautiful hotel. Serene feeling and very family orientated. Nice and clean and bathroom was woooooooow 😍
Thank you to the ladies who assisted in my laundry Samoan style. Highly recommend this for large families also,as it provides a large fridge, table for 6 and enough room in the living area to fit a rugby team.

They are very flexible and helpful.. A friendly (if sleepy!) young lady welcomed us at around 6:00 am, and let us into our room. BUT I had made sure that I had paid for the night before, so that we could have the room for the morning, to recover from the red-eye flight from Brisbane. PLUS, I had arranged for a car and driver to pick us up at the airport in the early morning. If you need Samoan money, get some at the airport ATM. There are no banks close to the Samoana Hotel..
