Absolutely disgusting place. I had to stay there for one night due to work arranging this place as mistake. It's an old and run down hotel with a good ocean view. There's a section called the mall rooms which are smelly and dirty shoe boxes. Dirty walls and doors, broken lamps, dirty old bathroom. When I entered the bathroom, I discovered that the celling was covered with mold. See the picture I have shared. This os a total health hazard. When management came in to see the bathroom, I also commented on some kind of brown powder on one of the beds, and they said it was coming from the celling... Termites?! They upgraded me to one of the villa in front of the sea. Really nice view, but ordinary, cheaply made villas sticking of toilet cleaner. Appreciate management's efforts. Just avoid this place and go somewhere cleaner and well maintained. I would have given them 0 stars but one is the lowest option. …

Restaurant review only. We stopped to ask about dining times and got told an answer. Turned up at the said time to be told it was wrong and we have to wait. We waited, then ordered to be told most of the menu was unavailable. Waitress came back after a while to say what we had ordered was also not available and we had a choice of a pasta, or deep-fried fish/chicken/fries. Poor attitudes in staff, miserable food, really bad experience all round.

We loved our stay! Our room was comfortable and clean. Take dive rings for the pool if you have kids! The free breakfast each morning was delicious. Not everything was available on the restaurant menu and a couple of times the shower had no water. This didn't upset us, it only added to our experience. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was so much wrong it is almost too hard to start 1. on check in they raised the price $40 when we showed them the reservation at the lower price we were told that the owner put the price up for the 1st of the month but hadn’t updated the site. 2. While checking in the receptionist took 2 other calls and left us to answer a 3rd staff query 3. No wifi 4. Room dirty and still wet from attempted cleaning 5. Restaurant was sold out of all but 3 items on a 30 item menu 6. Waitress was rude and had an attitude. 7. Ordered a hamburger and club sandwich… both came with some sort of salmon spread…was inedible. Lovely location…but do yourself a favour…go elsewhere

Lunch stop before the ferry. Very nice place, rather windy in the day but was a nice warm breeze. We were lucky to be able to have a table after walking in with a big group of us. We had the special on the day which was Samoan cultural food which we all really really enjoyed. Great location and looks like a nice place to stay. Staff was really really great and lovely!

Staff were really fantastic but unfortunately that’s were it stops Mall Rooms need attention starting with ripping up the carpets full renovations needed we had no hot water for 3 nights and I feel rooms should be serviced everyday not on request. I also was very annoyed at getting charged $25 Tala for one of our family members to swim in your pool then being told they were cleaning it and would reopen at 6pm so she didn’t end up swimming after all… This hotel could be amazing as location is awesome.

On two occasions we spent a while here while waiting for transport. We met with such kindness from the friendly manager and staff, and were impressed to see the extensive improvements which are nearing completion. Only a few metres from the busy, hot street, the public areas were a pretty piece of cool, breezy paradise with lovely views. We did not stay overnight. And by the way, our Jetz rental car was excellent!

The hotel's website is no longer available so I booked a room there on samoahotel.ws (Samoa's hotel association) because that was the first booking platform that popped up on Google. The property is not listed on Agoda or Booking.com. I made a deposit on samoahotel.ws but it turned out that no one works in the association anymore. I made a trip to the hotel but they did not receive my booking from the association at all. We tried to contact the association several times and no one answered so I got to cancel my credit card. I hope that website will get shut down.

Great location due to being close to ferry and a few local shops. A couple of the staff were very friendly. That's pretty much where the positivity ends. The hotel is dated, bathrooms very rough (tiles missing on floor), bed hard as rock. Went for dinner on first night as being a Sunday nothing else was open. They had no fish or chicken. Had the fried rice and then an terribly upset stomach the next day. The young guy who was our waiter was rude and couldn't care less. I know most resorts aren't making much money over there but other places manage to make you at least feel welcome. Has potential to be a fantastic hotel if someone chucked some money into it. Quite a depressing place really. Would not stay again or reccomend.
