Stunning place, quiet & secluded. But although a surfing lodge the description is very deceiving. No hot water, no fridges in fal'es ( though stated fully stock mini bars in rooms), Egyptian cotton sheets are worn & holes have been darned. 2 sets of snorkelling...More
Visited here in May 2016, group of 6 guys for a 50th. We had some good surf out the front and it got very big one day up in the 8-10ft range, the same swell that lit up Fiji. We surfed a great spot down...More

They only let you surf the Aganoa break at high tide. So a few hours before and after ... it's a fickle spot. Wave is a heavy barrel type. Bring booties for sure. I would recommend coconuts in Upolu for the price comparison. Neil can take you around by boat for cheap and accommodations are great. If you want Aganoa lodge maybe Fale 4-5?
When we stayed here we had access to a bunch of other surf breaks around the island. And there was no issue loading up the van and being driven to one of these breaks.
