I came to stay at Auga Seaside Resort on a family holiday in January 2010. It was owned by my Great Uncle Fritz Kruse at the time, however his wife's family still run the resort. Food was amazing, big island size proportions with the option of eating up on the individual decks looking over the water. Built to last and... More

On the good side the rooms were clean and tidy, staff were friendly. Water is clean. Not really a sandy beach and current a bit strong so need to take care if swimming in the bay. On the down side it is certainly more barrack-like than it is resort-like. For a family of 4 the room (a triple) was tiny.... More

We stayed just the one night while cycling around the Island. The first impression I had upon arrival was that it looked more like a correctional facility or military base? Once we were in we were pleasantly surprised with the rooms. Very tidy and spotlessly clean. Air-con, good size, immaculate bathrooms with good shower pressure (hot water too!). There was... More

We stayed here only 2 nights, as part of a business trip. Arranged by our clients, so we did not choose the site! It is quite new and very clean. 30 or so rooms are basic, 2 beds, large shower area and bathroom, T.V, telephone. No fridge, no internet access. Right on the shore, nice large bay clean water, fish... More

We originally were booked to stay at the Vaisala Beach Hotel but checked out of that one after one night. We ended up at the Auga. It was great. The people were great and the food was more than we had expected. Our children enjoyed the food. It was pleasant and would highly recommend it others. We were the only... More

We stayed at Auga Seaside Resort on the Samoa island of Savai'i, and felt like we very well may have been at the far edge of the world! We arrived at 5:00p without a reservation, after having driven around this absolutely stunning island. A very nice lady was at Reception who did not speak much (if any) English. I asked... More
