We didn't realise that our travel agent had changed our Savaii accommodation to the Savaii Lagoon Resort (which was different to our original quote) but on the day, we were so glad to have ended up there instead! Our room was beautiful and welcoming with flowers on the bed, towels etc. No air con but the breeze flowing through and...

This was our first trip to Samoa ... we arrived at the airport and headed straight to the ferry wharf by taxi. Be careful, the taxi drivers are very cheeky and tried to charge me $40 Tala for a 5 minute drive ... Only pay $10 Tala (I paid $20 Tala - first timer caught out), plenty of taxi drivers...

The Savaii Lagoon team thank you very much for your great review. Our managers Tony and Melissa are indeed excellent with what they do for our guests. We look forward to your return visit and we hope that it is as enjoyable the next time. We have guests returning each year, some have just left after the fifth time.

If you want the ideal getaway, sun, sea, sand and snorkelling then this is the place to go. None of the pressures of the usual holiday beach resorts. This little piece of paradise gives you time and space to recharge your batteries. You get there by flying to Apia and then taking the ferry (12 SAT) across to the island...

We loved our time here. The managers, Tony and Melissa, are outstanding and have created a great atmosphere with very customer focused and happy staff. The units do not have air conditioning but with the seabreeze and fans that was not a problem. We took our own food for lunches and had everything we needed - except for a sharp...

Thank you for a great review. Our team always appreciates the time taken to write these reviews. I need to clear up a slight misunderstanding. The resort gives a percentage per head to the village to assist them financially and to say thank you for their support. The percentage is not as much as half as that would not be...

I don't have much to add from what has already been said but here's what I thought We stayed here for 3 nights and could have been longer. The staff are great. Tony & Mellissa are gems and deserve a bonus! The other staff were lovely too. June's plantation walk is well worth it. It means you drive around seeing...

The Savaii Lagoon team would like to say a "Thank You" for your kind review. We are always pleased to hear that the holiday has been enjoyed as that is the purpose of what we do as a team for our guests. A small correction regarding the Glass Bottom Boat - the boat is owned and operated by the resort....

We stayed for two days at the Savaii Lagoon Resort in Samoa and wished we had booked for longer! Accommodation is in 10 individual bungalows from which you can step right on to the beach. The beach is one of the prettiest we saw in Samoa and you feel it is all yours, as there are very few using it....

For a great break away - families will not be dissapointed. A laid back and relaxing atmosphere without the need to constantly have your wallet out! Kids can enjoy the beach, snorkelling, kayaking or the fantastic new glass bottom boat! Adults you can't look past relaxing on a sun lounger drinking a cocktail while the kids play! The food is...

Have just returned from a 10 day trip to Samoa, 4 of which we stayed at Savai'i Lagoon Resort. It was the best place we stayed at by far, and wish we had stayed longer at Savai'i Lagoon instead of our last 3 nights at Aggies Lagoon Resort (one night is enough there). If you want to escape to paradise, to a place of warmth in every sense, climate and people and atmosphere, a place where you can look out on a turquoise tropical coral-filled lagoon from white sandy beaches with coconut palms, and dine at the water's edge from a lovely verandah, and all in a way that is not over-the-top and...
