Been here more than once, and it still is the best place to stay in in Ibarra. The location is perfect away from the noise and the place is wonderfully decorated and well maintained! The pool is at the perfect temperature and it is very clean. The rooms are spacious and the design and mix of modern with traditional is...

I went with my extended family, around 8 adults and 5 kids. The location is not central. The rooms are OK. Nothing especial but fine. However, I was really disappointed about the pool. They are known about the heated pool. You know that the weather is cold and we were hoping to enjoy sometime in the pool with the kids....

This was our second stay at San Andres, and I have to say that both were very pleasant indeed. The rooms are clean and modern, and this time round we were offered the suite with the fireplace. Although on the third floor, and arriving late, the porter brought up our luggage and was kind enough to bring up firewood and...

We enjoyed our stay at San Andreas Spa. It really isn't a spa but it was clean and the grounds were lovely and well taken care of. The staff are exceptional and cater quickly to your every need. The downside is location as you have to take a cab or have a long walk. The rooms were clean but lacked...

We (two couples) stayed here earlier this week. One room was palatial with sheers hanging above the bed, a chiminea (a pottery fireplace), and a sitting area. One was in the newer area, which was decorated in a similar fashion but much more basic. Service was very attentive. Hotel seemed fairly deserted....maybe 4 or 5 rooms occupied? Staff does not...

Took a mini vacation with the family to Ibarra to see if we could avoid the rainy season in Quito and ended up in this very nice Hotel, which happens to be close to the city. The stay included breakfast, which is not your ordinary continental breakfast, but a well prepared dish to start your day. Excellent service as well....

This is an impeccably maintained hotel spa. We have had the pleasure of visiting here on both of our trips to Ecuador. The owners, Patsi and Carlos Andres Orozco, have created an experience in lodging, dining, relaxing and touring that is unmatched in this area. The restaurant is excellent. We are excited to return on our next trip to see the...

Major Highway construction is underway & makes it nearly impossible to find the property. Once you do, no disappointment. We ended up eating all our dinners here after the spots touted in the guidebooks were closed or lackluster. 4 star meals with exceptional service. Spacious rooms, great bathroom. could use more outdoor furniture on the lawn or by the rooms...

Driving up the dusty, potholed ridden cobbled road laden with trucks, buses and taxis, you would be forgiven in having doubts about staying in this hotel. However, our three night stay here found some excellent qualities which you would be hard pushed to find in more exotic & upmarket hosterias in the area. Service and the food stand out -...
