This hostel is so friendly and communal with good relaxing and drinking areas. Deals and free dinner on most evenings and a lovely breakfast with fresh fruit juice and croissants. Staff are friendly and rooms are clean, comfortable, secure and spacious. Tours from here are also reasonably priced and great fun. Would love to have spent longer than a week... More

I am surprised to read the negative reviews about Franco and the rest of the staff at this hostel. With the exception of one rude bartender with dreadlocks, the staff was very friendly and helpful to us. Franco went out of his way to make our stay positive! We really appreciated his enthusiastic and friendly personality! We were sad to... More

Yes this hostel is a little bit out of the center of town but 100% worth the extra few minutes walk. Really clean, spacious, safe hostel with a bar/kitchen open for food all day and night. Very easy to meet people if you're a solo traveler! Dorm rooms are quite large with very comfortable beds and a private bathroom per... More

PROS: Great common room/grown up youth club. Games, DVDs music system, Pool table, x3 PCs, Activity planning/booking (though get Josephine to arrange). Josephine one of the managers. Worth her weight in gold when most other staff are: Stoneyfaced Intimidating Unfriendly Unhelpful Lazy Beds are comfortable. Bar is good. Generous amounts of booze in the cocktails. This is a great hostel, it's in a good location, it's in the main town but down a side street so it's not noisy and busy. The bar has a great atmosphere and the daily free meals or drinks are a good way to get everyone together. Beds are comfy, the showers gave hot water and the wifi is pretty... More

The hostel itself is fine; great social area, bar, free dinner and comfy beds. The big let down was the "manager" Franco. He was impolite, dismissive and completely unfit to be running a hostel. We had to wait an hour until check in, then waited a further hour until I eventually went and asked if we could check in yet,... More

Really great hostel, nice clean rooms and a good sized social area. Also they offer a free dinner on Monday, Tues and Weds, which is nice. Only issue was some of the staff were pretty rude. We had quite a few problems on check-in as we had reserved three nights but only wanted to stay for 2 and they made... More

Great staff, nice breakfast- croissants, fruit, porridge and juice. Cozy social space with cheap beer and a little more expensive food. Good location, comfy rooms. One thing to note- we stayed in both the 6 bed and 10 bed and I found the 10 bed not so nice- only one cramped bathroom and felt un cozy and cold. So splash... More
