Casa Amarilla is an excellent lodging option in Banos located in the woods just above the city. It´s a 10-15 minute walk uphill from the edge of the town and inaccessible by car. Service is great and the views are incredible, and it´s great being in such a peaceful location yet a short walk from the town. The fact that...

Because of the fantastic references, we decided to go to Casa Amarillo. We had an heavy suitcase with us and expected that there was an horse to pick us up. But there was no horse at all. The woman is really nice but the room was not clean. The room too expensive for what you get. The view is very...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights during Carnaval. The views are outstanding. The owners were very nice. We had a mix up about the horses. The horses did not come for us and we had to carry our luggage up the hill. I was a little disgruntled by the time I got to the hotel entrance. The...

Casa Amarilla is a beautiful place perched above the city, the view is spectacular. We soaked in the hot tub with water from the waterfalls. Nice showers, nice beds and really nice...

We had no idea what to expect because they asked us if we wanted horses to meet us at the trail or if we wanted to walk up ourselves. Considering that this was our last place to...

La Casa Amarilla is a special find. It is simple and sweet, and has beautiful vistas overlooking the town of Baños. The 20 minute climb up to it is a little tough with bags, but well worth the trek. Mayra is a lovely hostess who cooked us great meals and took us through her gardens, naming the flowers and introducing...

Run by a very friendly family its located on the hill side from where you overlook the town. You hike up there so maybe store heavy things...
