What a stunning location. Only spent 1 night before boarding a ship to Antarctica. My evening walk along the water front had spectacular views of snow capped mountains. This was followed by an enjoyable dinner. The room was large, clean and comfortable. I was delighted to wake up to beautiful sunrise. A very pleasant and peaceful hotel which provides a...

What a stunning and awesome location! This hotel is situated in the Southern most town in the world, Ushuaia, and surrounded by the Andes, that rises like a stegosaurus spine in the landscape. It is surrounded by mountains water and shoreline on a grand scale. The hotel building is large spacious and rustically stylish; lots of wood and high vaulted...

I have a lot of great things to say about this hotel. The rooms are quite large and they have a couple of different sitting areas in the common spaces. The views are terrific and the hotel is situated to take full advantage of that - the views from the restaurant are terrific but our room also had good views....

The view from hotel is amazing, the hotel itself is very old but has everything needed, the staff does nothing to make your stay comfortable. The booking was done by QuarkExpedition as part of Antarctica cruise and unfortunately the awful food spoiled the stay. The management should take measures.

It's a couple of miles from the center of town, but you get a magnificent view on the Beagle channel from your room. The staff recommended a rafting, hill climbing trip in the national park that was the highlight of our trip. It actually had decent internet, which seems to be a rarity in South American hotels. The restaurant was...

This excellent hotel is located a bit far from the downtown area but which it makes up for with free daily transfer to and from the downtown area which is actually a 15" drive. The rooms are very spacious overlooking the lake which makes for a beautiful scenery. The breakfast is very modest and tasty too. The staff are ever...

The hotel is located right on the Beagle channel in a private setting. Wonderful views from the rooms and dining room. The staff was really attentive and assisted me in planning trips around the area. The location is about 10 minutes from the town center, but the hotel provides regularly scheduled round trip shuttle service. Only ate dinner there once,...

the hotel has a wonderful location 10-15 minutes taxi outside Ushuaia, just in front of the Beagle Channel. From your room you can view the channel with the wind blowing, the mountains on the Chilean side and imagine Antarctica not far away. Other than that, everything else is pretty average: - old decoration, probably renewed in the 80s, with limited charm...

I booked a 2 night stay as I was en route to Antartica, but wanted to explore the area a little before I left. The Tolkeyen Hotel has spectacular views and is in a spectacular location. The hotel itself is very dated but clean. The staff couldn't of been more helpful and they made sure our stay was comfortable. The...

The hotel is a bit outside Ushuaia, but it offers free transfer to town three times per day, which take 10-15mins. The location is wonderful and the landscape magic. The restaurant has a good menu and big windows, which allow to enjoy more the place. Breakfast is a bit poor with respect to all the nice services there. For this...
