We arrived a day before our cruise to Antarctica and found this very nice hotel. The staff, although not good with English, were very nice and helpful. The room was not real large, but this was just a one-night stay and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was one of the better ones we have enjoyed. The...

A good little hotel in the center of Ushuaia. Staff speak English and are service minded! Good breakfast. The have free wifi but slow like everywhere in Ushuaia. You can eat in the reception but it is mostly microwave food! Clean rooms and bathtubs in all rooms!

We stayed at the Cap Polonio 3 nights on our 2 week trip to Argentina and Chile. In all, this hotel worked fine for our purposes. Pro: Hotel was in a great location, walkable to all restaurants, shops, dock for boat tours, etc. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, English speaking. Lobby/cafe area was warm and inviting, open to...

Best Location in the Main Street, nice reception are, very nice room (family room), the WiFi works ok and the breakfast is good but no eggs and vegetables in it. Full of eateries and shops close to the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Old, Historic Hotel with a lot of character. Rooms are decent sized and clean. I was in the back of the hotel near the fire escape. I am not sure, but I thought I had heard either people coming up the metal stairs at night, or, more likely, the wind blowing on the stairs, causing clanking noises. Power in the...

Good hotel with a very helpful staff. All the reception managers treated us very well when we need something. The room is ok, standard. The restaurant (Marco) is very good, with great vegetarian and vegan options.

Mostl rooms are small and the restaurant is a 2 star cafe where self-serve is the more usual method. Every person I dealt with at reception had little to no English-speaking capability making life extremely difficult for non-Spanish speaking guests. Several attempts were made to charge more for rooms than originally advertised and paid through Internet booking service. Implausible explanations...

The hotel Cap is average in all respects, not good, not bad, right in the middle. The beds are too hard, the room had a bit of a "smell" to it, there were people driving around at all hours blaring their music and beeping their horns, BUT the place is cheap, warm and dry, and after all, what are you...

Simple yet cozy hotel with an interesting facade. Clean and orderly. The rooms are a little small with little walking space. They gave me a double room for myself because they had no singles available. Staff was super kind. Location is great, 1 block from the main avenue. Overall good experience. Yes it was pricey, but there is no cheap...
