The hostel is very comfortable, meets all a traveler's needs. The rooms are organized, all areas are always clean, good breakfast, a very large living area, clean and organized bathroom. The beds have curtains, which helps with privacy. Offers laundry service with same-day delivery.

Excellent service and facilities at the Hostel. I stayed in a private room with a bathroom and everything was perfect, good security, spacious room and bathroom with hot water. The very friendly staff is always attentive to whatever you need. The location is a little far from the center, about 25 minutes walking but accessible to taxis, Uber or transportation with good prices. I would stay in Oshovia again!!

Oshovia has clean dorms and common spaces, although the women’s bathroom floor was often often flooded with water from the showers. Each person is assigned a bunk and each bunk in the dorm room had its own light, access to a plug, a locker to use and privacy curtains surrounding the bed. The front desk staff was super friendly and very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and for booking tours. The booking includes breakfast. The hostel has good wifi. Location wise it’s about a 30-minute walk to the main street in Ushuaia with restaurants and shopping. Would definitely recommend to others.

Beautiful and modern facilities, with very warm Patagonian style decoration. The distance to the center is not so important considering the impeccable conditions of the Hostel, and a bus passes on the corner (A) that drops you off in the center. You travel with the climb without problems. But it is safe to walk to the center as well or cheap in a remis/taxi ($1600). I arrived around 9 AM, well before check in, and not only did they let me into the room to get settled and stay, but they also let me have free breakfast that morning. In addition, the guys at the reception helped me every morning to request transportation for the excursions, the truth is they were great! I felt at home. Thank you so much guys!

Everything about the hostel was impeccable, warm, clean and comfortable. I would give it a 10 score only if they had a little piece of wood, or something to support the cell phone next to the bed outlet, or something simple. One of the best hostels I've been to.

Oshovia is an impeccable, beautiful place, 20 minutes walk from the center, and very close to the bus stops. I received excellent attention from the owners and staff and I have no doubt I would return. When I hurt my knee, they shared with me some bandages with painkillers that were very good for me. Everything worked very well and breakfast included fruit, coffee, tea, bills and toast. It has a very nice and comfortable common space where several of us passengers stayed to watch a movie at night.

This hostel is so beautiful and really feels like home! The beds are comfy, the rooms spacious. There are lockers and enough outlets for everyone. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and there is always a free toilet or shower in the bathroom. And everything is super clean! Wifi works well. It is an half hour walk from the centre, but there's a supermarket just one block over and reception can arrange pick-ups for the bus transfer from the hostel. For me personally it would be great if they would use fitted sheets instead of normal sheets for the mattresses, so I wouldn't have to adjust it every day. But they are not common throughout Argentina.

Hola! I LOVED (!!) my 4-night stay at Oshovia. It’s such a beautiful and rustic place (big kitchen/dining and lounge areas) and it felt very calm (loved the calm ambient music in the background :)). Not to mention everything is very clean.
I especially like the neighborhood that the hostel is located: it’s more residential (less touristy), feels/is super safe, and the walk to downtown is beautiful (by the coast) and pretty close (30 minutes - much shorter than it sounds). Supermarkets (there are a few) are around the corner and it’s super nice to stop for cheap and yummy ice cream at Grido on the walk back from town.
Karina was super helpful in arranging a shuttle to the Tierra del Fuego National Park and offering recommendations for great eats in town! Marco was helpful in recommending taxi services.
I really enjoyed chatting with other travelers as well, which made my experience even better.
Ushuaia is such a BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING little “city”, surrounded by mountain and the Beagle Channel. I vow to return and stay here for longer, because I didn’t realize Tierra Del Fuego has so much to experience!

I really enjoyed my stay at Oshovia! Everything was very clean and nice. I was able to schedule a shuttle at the reception to get to the hikes and they even picked me up at the hostel for the same price as the shuttle from town. The curtains on the beds were great for privacy and the bathrooms were always well stocked and clean. I met a lot of great people at the hostel as well and everyone was really friendly and welcoming. I had a SUBE card from Buenos Aires so I could easily take the bus to town for only 47 pesos or it was a 20-25 min walk. Carrefour is pretty close for both groceries and Western Union pick ups which was very convenient as well.

Oshovia hostel was just fantastic and the hosts Karina and Marco are so welcoming and can’t do enough for you. The hostel was constantly clean, beds were very comfortable and warm, hot and powerful showers. All the guests staying there were friendly. Breakfast was a nice little addition and set me up for the day. They recommended trips and tours, sent off your laundry, helped with taxis and shuttles, just so helpful. The hostel itself is about a 5 minute drive from the centre but taxis are so cheap that it didn’t affect the experience. If I ever return to Ushuaia I would 100% stay there again.
