Great place to stay in Ushuaia. Have stayed here before. Owners will collect guests from the airport or dock. Very kindly drove me to the airport. Very clean well equipped rooms with excellent bathroom. Delightful breakfast. Very helpful in sorting out tickets. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Valle Frio over New Year and enjoyed the stay. It's a nice small family business about a 10 minute walk from one end of the main street in Ushuaia. The 3 brothers who run the place are very helpful and they also put together a little New Year celebration for the guests which was appreciated. If I...

The kind, friendly owners arranged a free airport pick-up for me, which was a lovely gesture. My room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. They offered a nice selection of food at breakfast. I appreciated the oatmeal and fresh fruit. My only suggestions are that they oil all the door hinges (very squeaky and loud!) and put instructions for how...

We stayed at Hosteria Valle Frio in December during our Ushuaia visit. It's ran by three friendly brothers. They picked us up from the airport, gave us all the details on possible activities and were all the time very helpful and friendly. The hosteria itself sits nicely on the small hill just a few steps away from the main street....

It was a great experience as we were looking for something small, nearby the centre, friendly and not a hotel. As a family run hostel it gives you a warm feeling and the brothers who are running it are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and warm! Def recommend it!

Back here again for my fifth stay in five years, and as good as ever. I like the freshly baked pastries and excellent varied breakfast buffet, the location only a short walk to downtown, clean comfortable rooms, and friendly welcoming family atmosphere. I usually stay for several weeks, and it really does feel like a home away from home.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Ushuaia. The B&B like hotel is run by 3 brothers who make you feel welcome upon arrival. It is a quick 6 minute walk from downtown. It has character, excellent breakfast (included), resources available. Reasonable rates as well.

We looked for something close to the center and with good TA references. We choose Valle Frio, as one of the few available and quoted good and did not regret it. It has less than a hanfull of rooms, is kept by a "band of brothers" (3 brothers :-)) very helpful and knowledgeable about to local turist attractions market and...

An incredibly welcoming place - they even picked us up at the airport and held onto our bags for us after check out and prior to our departure. Location is convenient for walking into town with beautiful views up towards the mountains and down towards the water. Highly recommend.

I was really happy with the Valle Frio. It's a family run hosteria - and has a very warm, welcoming vibe. Nothing was too much trouble. They carried my large luggage up and down all the stairs with a smile. Large clean room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Good location.
