Older style large hotel situated at end of a gravel road on the outskirts of town and amidst industrial sites. Apart from the location breakfasts were great and included in the tariff. Rooms clean, beds made daily, plenty of hot water in excellent volume and clean towels.

1. SMALL ROOMS - the rooms are fairly small you will fit 2 people, double bed and 2 suitcases, that is all. 2. HOT ROOMS- the rooms and hotel overall is way overheated during summer. We had the window open all night on the ground floor, which leads me onto... 3. NOISEY, walls are thin and corridors & doors noisey....

This hotel is in the cheap end of town, but within easy walking distance of the town centre and we didn't feel unsafe walking back late at night. Basic and comfortable room. Nice lobby area. Breakfast ok. Basically we wanted a cheap clean room and that is what we got so price very good value for money.

Rooms are very small: two beds and nothing else can fit in. Breakfasts are very poor, hardly can be called Continental, with no hot meal. Nice staff, but poor location on unpaved dusty street. Look a better choice.

The hotel is bad, we stayed two nights there and we will never go back. Staff was very good and helpful, but when the venue doesn't have good maintenance there is very little to do. Toilet seat was different from toilet so it didn't fit, they had to change our room because the shower didn´t work. TV wasn't working properly,...

S50°20.615' W72°15.195' in a slump part of El Calafate, before the bridge to the city centre, between car repair shops and DIY-housing, this large hotel is the favourite of travel companies. During our stay in December 2014, we opened overheated room 104 with constant noise of a compressor. Complaining at reception, they confirmed that the compressor sound was part of...

We are still guests of this sort of hotel in El Calafate. As we know it is high seasons we did not have such a great expectations from the hotel but the service it is worst than our immagination. The structure could be a kind of nice traditional hotels 30 years ago, for sure not now. It is very old,...

There was something about this place that we loved. Yes, it is a 15 minute walk into town but who goes to this area and does not like to walk? The neighborhood was fine, just not upscale. We never felt unsafe walking. The rooms look just like the pictures. The walls are thin. I know this sounds negative but I...

The Rincon housed us for two nights. Our room was a bit on the small side so backpackers needing more space may want to stay at a hostel. I imagine that the extra money would not buy a lot more space (compared to a hostel). There is WiFi and a small TV but no private refrigerator. The location is a...

It is a good 15 min walk from town through rough neighborhood but the hotel is pristine, modern and well above standards. The rooms a very modern with all required amenities. Great staff and fantastic continental breakfast served at 6.30 onwards for whose up early for the perito Moreno excursion. Highly recommended.
