Perfect location no more than 10 minutes walk from downtown but far enough away to be quiet. The dogs, not sure if they were stray or not, never bothered us, though I can understand they seem a bit scary. Our hosts were most helpful arranging taxis for us for transport to and from the airport etc and in general created... More

I was disappointed to enter Miyazato Inn because I'd read that it was like a Japanese hotel, but I didn't see much that was particularly Japanese about it except the owner. The location is a ten minute walk to the center of town, and it's a very scary walk. There are stray dogs and aggressive unleashed dogs that growl and... More

Lovely b&b on the outskirts of el calafate. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of town. So nice and quiet but within easy reach of everything. The staff are outstanding. Very very helpful. On our visit they booked trips, arranged transport and gave us plenty of really useful advice. While not luxurious, the rooms are a good size... More

George runs this hosteria excellently. he took care of our needs from transfers, to hot coffee to go for our mini trekking, to hubby's rented glacier trekking gears, and a little bit of Okinawa history from where his parents were originally from. elizabeth also handled our mini trekking booking from cancelling it to rebooking it in view of our missed... We had 2 nights at the Miyazoto Inn and were very happy with the staff and the accommodation. Right from when I made the booking, Elizabeth was extremely helpful, and always took time to answer all my questions. We would happily return to Miyazato Inn if we were to return to El Calafate.

Stayed here four nights-- a quiet, tranquil spot just a few blocks from the center of El Calafate. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. But the best thing was the hotel staff and owners-- they helped arrange my transport and excursions, and were just generally really warm and welcoming. I'd happily stay here again!

Elisabeth gave us a warm welcome and she has been always very kind and helpful. The second day we went on a day excursion to Perito Moreno with AMAYCO TURISMO Y EXPEDICIONES (the best organization available) and she offered a thermos bottle full of tea to warm us up during the glacier tour. Clean room, with all we need for... More

We spent two nights at Miyazato Inn little over a week ago. It was clean, efficient but well appointed (think some city hotels in Japan), with firm bed and quiet surroundings about 6 blocks from downtown. We appreciated that it had a sizeable tub bath, rare for a cost effective lodging. Breakfast was tasty continental, with the best freshly squeezed... More

This is a simple B&B in downtown El Calafate, about a 10 minute walk from the main tourist drag. You're staying at the well equipped, quiet home of a family with 2 school age children. The hosts are what make this place stand out. Elizabeth is superbly organized and helpful - she knows what visitors are here for (the glacier,... More

A good experience, the host Elizabeth is very helpful with regards to the area and any problems you might have with your trip. Clean rooms enough facilities for a short stay as El Calatafe is a jumping point not too far from the Glaciers and not a long stay resort.
