Hotel Posada Los Alamos has garnered praise for its prime location close to the main street and downtown attractions, along with its spacious rooms and inviting atmosphere. Guests have celebrated the hotel's cleanliness and the staff's exceptional service.
While the amenities usually meet guest expectations, some have pointed to spa maintenance as an area needing improvement. However, concerns have been raised about the value offered, with some guests feeling the experience does not justify the price, particularly due to dated bathrooms and potential noise disturbances.

Beautiful hotel. You can tell they're in every detail. The cleanliness is to highlight, as well as the decoration, each light that is placed outside gives a warm touch to the place and highlights its architecture. Everything is super well maintained and maintained, both inside and outside. The location is perfect as you are 2 blocks from the main street but at the same time this hotel is in an unrivalled property, with lots of green, benches to enjoy the place and obvious surrounded by poplars... it is charming. Breakfast is served in another building, but it really is not annoying to go as the road is beautiful. Breakfast very varied and with quality and fresh products. The spa is across the street, it was the only thing I didn't like as you have to change and go back to the room outside, wet. In addition the water temperature was not very warm and the restrooms were very dirty, but the pool is incredibly large and the place where it is located has very high wooden ceilings and very picturesque. The Humus restaurant is excellent, the food is rich and the service very good. We went without Reservation, it was full and a girl set us a table as she said we were always and she didn't want us to run out of dinner. I was really delighted with the hotel because one as a guest notices when in a place has thought every detail. Congratulations to everyone who makes it happen.

Staying at the Posada Los Alamos Hotel is a guarantee of an impeccable stay where everything is designed for your enjoyment. Starting with its varied and filling breakfast with traditional Argentine pastries. Secondly, for those who want to relax, the spa is a must. It has a large heated pool, different hydromassages, a dry and wet sauna with staff attentive to the cleaning and maintenance of the place. I highlight Miguel as always cordial and competent. Finally, a separate paragraph for the staff in general, always efficient and friendly, especially Gisela at the reception and also her colleague Florencia.

We stayed 4 nights and then 2 more nights at this inn. The building is classic in the area, very central and at the same time with very well-kept gardens, a small golf course and a beautiful spa that consists of a glassed-in pool and changing room area and rooms for massages and aesthetic treatments. The reception and maintenance assistants were always attentive and friendly... and any fault we had... they repaired quickly. Breakfast is very varied... breads and sweets of all kinds, and a chef who makes eggs on demand. Good tea service.. expresso coffee or cappuccino is chargeable, priced at very correct standards. It has a Restoran in that area and a very good bar and Restoran.. the HUMMUS in the Spa area.. we went twice and everything was very delicious and at not so high prices. We were in a triple room, a little hot at times... you have to turn off the heating from time to time... depending on the weather outside, luckily. The spacious room, with mini bar and complimentary tea and coffee service in the room. We had sunny days and late nights. Very good option in Calafate. I would gladly return

He mainly highlighted the excellent attention of all the staff in all sectors of the hotel, spa and gym. They are always willing to resolve the guest's concerns. As for the spa, it does not have a water dispenser, which is essential, but if I want to access a dispenser I I must direct the person in the gym with the towel on and tights. They also do not provide gowns with or without cost, they do not have any. They only give you a towel.

We arrived at the hotel and we got a room with a view of a garbage dump, we asked for a possible room change and they gave us one without heating. In the middle of May with very low temperatures. Then to go to breakfast or use the spa you have to go outside and cross a street, the pool changing rooms have torn curtains and carpets, the hair dryer is very low power, and you can't stop using it because it's quite cold and for Returning to the room again you must go outside and freeze.

This hotel is located a couple of blocks away from the center of town. It's very easy to walk yo the restaurants and shops. The hotel is comfortable but a little tired. Our bathroom shower/ was on the smaller size. The buffet breakfast was good and has an omlet station. They have a heated pool that is about 89° and heavily chlorinated. Still a very relaxing thing to do after climbing a lot of steps.

While the hotel and its grounds are quite beautiful outside and in the lobby, it’s downhill from there. This is based on two separate stays in mid-Dec. Hot water is super temperamental in the claustrophobia-inducing showers. Once you spend 8 minutes pinpointing the spot that allows for tolerable temperature, it will unexpectedly rise to scalding then plummet to frigid. Budget 35 minutes for your shower. Ignore the mold in the grout and cracks in tile. WiFi is completely unreliable and slow. It is much faster to just use cellular data. Bed is ok; pillows flat, and just the right thickness where one is too little and two is too high Breakfast buffet is the poorest I’ve had in two weeks in Patagonia… canned pineapple, box orange juice, weak coffee. Far better places in Calafate and across Patagonia.

The grounds of this hotel are lovely with a pretty flower garden at the restaurant, bar, and gold club across the street. The rooms are just average. Ours had a persistent sewer smell in the bathroom the entire stay. We tried running water in the bidet and covering the bathroom drain with a towel but nothing helped so we just kept the bathroom door shut and the windows wide open. No wash cloths. We had lunch in the small bar off the lobby and it was nothing special. Pizza was not what I expected, no red sauce, soggy crust… so we just ate the cheese off it. We had a bottle of wine at the bar in their building across the street at night and that bar was very lively, service was great, and it was a nice space. The price for the same bottle was half what we were charged at a restaurant in town which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was a buffet and the first day was great other than seeing signs on every table telling you not to take any food with you. I guess they have had a problem but it does not make for great ambiance. Perhaps they could charge a bit more to make up for the few people who might take a pastry for the road. The breakfast buffet the second day was crazy. The restaurant was packed and they kept running out of everything including coffee. It seems that a lot of tour groups were all getting an early start. If this is an ongoing issue, they will need to staff accordingly.

An excellent hotel to recommend. The property on which it is located is very well located, near the center and surrounded by a large and well-kept park. All common spaces are decorated with very good taste and invite you to enjoy and relax. The staff is very friendly and efficient The rooms are warm and spacious, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast is very complete and tasty. (Special mention to the freshly made cupcakes) There is a large heated indoor pool and spa area to relax after a day of excursions and a gym to workout in. It was a very free stay.

We checked in at 10am. The gentleman who checked us in said our room would be ready in about an hour. It wasn’t, and the gentleman who checked us in had disappeared. We finally got access to our room about 1pm. The room was as far away from the front desk as you could get. Internet access was very poor and sketchy. Sometimes there was no signal at all. The room was very “tired and worn” from the furniture to the bathroom. The shower was barely big enough to turn around in, the fixtures were old and worn and the grout was dirty. It was stifling hot in the room, even though the radiator was off. Since we were on the ground floor, we didn’t feel comfortable opening a window at night to let in cool air. The front desk person promised a fan, which never materialized. We had a tea pot, but no cups, coffee or tea. When we requested coffee at the front desk, they directed us to the bar. The bar person thought we wanted prepared coffee delivered as room service. Finally the front desk person intervened and said she would have cups and coffee packets delivered to the room. When we got back from dinner, we had cups and tea bags – no coffee. The next day, at 3pm, the cups we had used for tea that morning, had not been picked up and no new cups or tea/coffee delivered. We reported that to the front desk and the old cups were picked up, but we never got new cups and tea bags for the next day. They tried to charge us for items in the mini bar that we did not consume. The room was very noisy, as it is on a busy side street, plus you could hear people coming and going in the hallway and on the floor above us moving around. The bed pillows were very uncomfortable; the sheets were too small for the bed and kept coming loose and the blanket was very old – unsanitary? On a positive note, the public areas were very nice and comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. The bar upstairs from the spa was quite nice, as was the restaurant. The lobby area, and bar/restaurant adjacent were both pleasant. On the whole, staff were friendly and helpful, though lots of miscommunications occurred during our stay.
