We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting El Calafate. I would recommend a hotel closer in to town as catching taxis got a little tiresome, and walking several km in cold strong winds was not the most appealing option. Breakfast was standard fare - cereal, toast, cakes etc. Some of the staff were helpful, however one staff member appeared...

I had a room with view to the lake, they included a hiking trek tour to the glacier in my rate. they prepared a snack for me to take away during the whole day tour. Breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly and handy.

We stayed at the hotel for four nights after reading some of the reviews. We had originally booked another hotel with excellent lake views but changed our booking, as this hotel is located a little closer to town. We thought we would have the option of having dinner at the hotel or walk into town on the days we were...

We stayed here for a total of 3 night ins February. 1 night on the way from Puerto Natales to El chalten to hike in los glaciares in Argentina. We were trying to arrange transport between El Calafate and El Chalten and they booked everything for us. We pestered them with tons of emails. They were so helpful that we...

A decent hotel, comfortable clean rooms with a great view. Friendly staff. Overall, the price didn't match the expectation. Minor criticism, but the laundry service was a huge hassle to use, they made me itemize every item in there and the bill came to $35 USD for one load! On average I have been paying around $8 per load and...

The Good -- Terrazas del Calafate boasts gorgeous views of Lago Argentino. The included buffet breakfast was a very nice spread and much more than we expected. The dining room was very light and pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful in planning our excursions and giving directions. The bed was very comfortable (firm) and the towels were larger and...

Modern hotel with good sized rooms, bathroom with full sized bath and shower mixer. Out standing views. Not in the centre of town but only 20 mins or so to walk in to restaurants etc. You might need to book a table in the restaurant to eat here, and you have to order dinner the night before if you want...

I stayed there three nights, and took day expeditions to the glaciers nearby. The hotel was amazing. The view from the room was spectacular, overlooking a lake with the most extraordinary blue turquoise colour I have ever seen. The room was spacious and clean, while the beds where not overly soft, they where still comfortable. The lobby was furnished nicely...

The panoramic views from the lobby will take your breathe away. The hotel is beautiful in every sense. The views from the rooms are fantastic as well as the common areas. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good with sweeping views of the lake The biggest drawback to this hotel is its location. It’s on the...
