We stayed, my wife and I, ten days in this wonderful place. The complex is located on the edge of Lake Gutierrez surrounded by mountains. The complex is made up of "shared houses" composed of several rooms with a large common space formed by a Living-Dining Room (with wood-burning home that they were in charge of lighting when requested), Kitchen (with availability of Tea, Coffee, Weed, cleaning elements, Toaster, Coffee machine, Microwave, dishes, etc.) and Fridge. Permanent heating is by radiators. Our room was located in Casa Los Radales, on the top floor and overlooking the lake. Very spacious and with enough bedding (to face the cold), plenty of space for storing clothes and personal belongings. Hygiene items and towels in more than enough quantity. During our stay we were the only guests of that house, which was a "luxury" that we could more than enjoy. Silence and peace always accompanied us. Excellent WiFi connection. Everything is very beautiful and as it is seen in the photos they share on social media.
All the staff, without exception, were very attentive and predisposed to address our concerns and recommend activities, such as the horseback riding we did inside the same Estancia, or the different trekking trails that we could enjoy through the adjacent forest and only a step away. Eternally grateful for the good vibe, entertaining talk and sympathy.
Breakfast was to our liking, with healthy proposals (lactose free, gluten free), natural juices, varieties of sweets (tomato, pumpkin, rosehip, dulce de leche, etc.), fruits, and pastry without excess carbohydrates.
The restaurant offers a menu that allows you to choose, independently, entree, main course and dessert. I emphasize that for the main course it is possible to select several proposals based on plants or meats. Hearty and very, very tasty dishes. Our congratulations to the Chef.
Finally, for those who do not know Bariloche, the Estancia is located away from the shopping and ski center, and is accessed from the route through a dirt road. We consider that having own mobility is ideal for those who wish to know the area. The staff also offer guests private transportation and ski activities. In our particular case, as we are aware of all the traditional attractions of Bariloche, we were looking to get away from the noise, find calm, silence, and Peuma Hue was the ideal place. We will not forget the moments spent sitting at the edge of the lake in harmony with nature, horses, hares, birds that came to keep us company.

The area that Peuma Hue is situated in is breathtakingly beautiful. Almost Alpine with lush forests, waterfalls to hike to horses to be taken out on and the most beautiful lake. I’ve never seen a night sky like the ones we had there. The activities were varied from Sound Therapy in a temple in the woods through yoga and massage via horse riding a treks. The staff were with one exception all superb and lovely to talk to. The food was absolutely delicious. Healthy but not virtuously so. Super super tasty and fresh. We stayed in the master suite of the main building. It’s rustic charm but with spectacular views and a very comfy bed. Plus a sunny balcony looking out over the lake and grounds. I’m missing it already.

The location and grounds are very beautiful and it was great to be able to hike straight out the door on trails of all lengths and levels of difficulty.
Our room (upstairs, in the main house) was big, beautiful and rustic. But several details weren’t quite up to the standard we expected from the website — for example, there were dust balls on the floor, a torn shower curtain, and no bathmat. We still enjoyed the room (and the fireplaces in the lounge of the main house and in the restaurant).
The restaurant had wonderful vegetarian options. The menu might seem limited if you’re there for more than a couple of nights.
If you don’t speak Spanish, you’ll be very comfortable with all the staff speaking fluent English. However, if you are used to speaking Spanish, as we are, you may be disappointed or offended when the great majority of the staff keep responding to you in English. We very much appreciated that one of the restaurant staff did consistently use Spanish with us. (He also prepared beautiful meals.)

It is a refuge where nature is pampered to be delighted. Discover an exquisite selection of vegan dishes in this unique setting. We fall in love with horses that roam freely, providing an atmosphere of serene harmony. From the main window of the restaurant, the majesty of the mountain unfolds, creating an unparalleled view. The streams, dotted with brightly colored stones, awaken the senses with their energy. The sound of water, accompanied by the native cauquenes, and the freedom to spot dogs, cats, horses, seagulls and various species of Bariloche birds, make up a natural symphony.
Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters of the lake, where trees and large stones dance on the bed visible from the surface. The day unfolds with multiple activities, from marked trails that wind through the forest to viewpoints and waterfalls that inspire amazement. Discover a stone and wood chapel, a unique jewel of its kind. Let yourself be guided along marked paths, avoiding getting lost in the exuberance of the forest, and reach viewpoints that will give you amazing views.

My husband and I had a wonderful week. We found everything the place promised: rest, beautiful scenery, a cabin (the one of the Creek) warm, clean, cozy. We disconnect from the world. I have food allergies and there were several options on the menu that I could revel in. All the staff very friendly. Keep in mind, the route to the stay is dirt and has very narrow and dangerous areas. We assume that if it rained, an appropriate vehicle would be needed. The food in the restaurant is very good. You just have to be patient to wait. The garden could be better kept. An inspiring place. We came back happy and very grateful.

We stayed four nights and loved our stay with Eve, Ruben and her lovely team on an Estancia overlooking Lake Gutierrez. Unfortunately our weather was not kind to us and reminded ourselves of our Lake District in the UK! For the first three nights we were the only guests in the main house with a huge log fire to keep us warm. We had elected for the adventure package, which because of the driving rain on day two we were able to swap for an enjoyable massage. On the first day we were taken on a two hour drive to a remote farm to get ready for a white water rafting experience. The views along the way were stunning and the weather was actually kind to us. The rafting was well organised with a good safety briefing and lasted 90 minutes along the Rio Manso, ending up in Chile. Enjoyed a farmhouse lunch with a young group of Argentinians, who were younger than our children! Our third day was a horse riding day for my wife and in the afternoon with a packed lunch we hiked the pink and yellow trails to get great views of Lakes Gutierrez and Mascardi. We enjoyed super breakfasts every morning, lunch and a delightful home cooked dinner each evening. We thoroughly enjoyed having dinner with Eve and Ruben one evening and especially loved hearing how Eve set about creating this eco haven in a beautiful location. We certainly intend to visit again. Thanks Eve and Ruben for sharing your beautiful home with us for my big birthday!

Our stay at the Peuma Hue Stay was exceptional. I was with my two daughters as a family. The cleanliness, the comfort of the rooms allowed us to rest fully. The staff was friendly and attentive, always willing to help. The food, delicious and healthy. The landscapes are stunning, ideal environment to enjoy nature. The activities are adapted according to the particularities of each person, which is a super considered gesture on their part 🤗 and allows each guest to enjoy what they want, rest, adventure, connection. From day 1 they offered to provide us everything we needed for a relaxing stay and we did!! We highly recommend this place for families, group of friends, who are looking for an escape in a luxurious environment.

Our recent stay at Estancia Peuma Hue was the highlight of an amazing trip to Argentina. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was astonishingly good; eating outdoors in the sunshine was so nice. Our guides Carla and Evie (the owner) were exceptionally helpful at meeting our needs and incredibly informative of the unique nature of this eco resort. Such wonderful hiking around the mountains and lakes. A great Christmas Eve celebration with campfires and music and libations was provided. The sound-yoga experience in the Temple was great, too. We hope to be able to return soon. Thank you so much for giving us such a happy experience.

Hello MrsToad,
For non-lodged guests we can offer a full day activity called Estancia Day, that includes guided horseback riding (2hs), gourmet lunch with home wines and soft drinks, kayaking and self-guided trekking. The rate is of US$ 170 per person, it starts at 10:30hs with the ride and ends at around 5pm.
If you’re looking for just horseback riding you can join the morning ride (10:30am) or afternoon ride (3pm), also 2 hours long, for a price of US$ 50 per person. The rides are done in a group according to your expertise.
In both cases we can arrange transfers or you can take a taxi or drive yourself to our Estancia.
If any of these options works for you please email us and let us know in which dates you’d be interested. Please note that we only accept bookings in advance in all cases.
Thank you, we hope to see you soon! Best regards,
Luz - Peuma Hue

Hello, thank you for your question!
We usually fill very quickly for the holiday season, but we still don't have any bookings from Dec 2018.
My best advice would be to work your dates out before March 2018 in order to get the best rooming option for your group.
If you wish to receive more information or have any other question please feel free to email us at the address in our TripAdvisor page!
Best,

Hello, thanks for your question! We're located 27km away from town. This might seem far away but if you rent a car or take a transfer downtown you'd be there in 30 minutes :)
We have two different lodging plans, one including just breakfast and other including activities and meals -- you can choose to mix these two or to take the first and request activities and meals on the go. For instance, you can have a day of riding, trekking and kayaking and the next day of exploring Bariloche, going to breweries (there are lots of different ones!) and eating at a local parrilla, to come back later to a warm fireplace and a glass of Malbec...
If you'd like to receive a quote and more information please email us at the address in our TripAdvisor page!
