We all know that Sheraton bought the Pan American, which was the glamour hotel in Bariloche! The entrance hall is beautiful and the check-in service very good! The employees always smiling! Cleaning of the rooms are daily and with replacement of toiletries! But stop over there! The rooms need a beautiful modernization, or at least a synth in the rooms! Wardrobe doors heavy clothes, empty fridge, old bathrooms and tap leaking, although we have stayed in a luxury apartment overlooking the lake! Breakfast is served in an event room on the first floor, although they have a good restaurant downstairs! Few options of bread, salami, jams and fruits, which, taking a fruit salad, do not peel! Put whole decorating the table! It's a continental European coffee! The biggest problem is the replacement of items and glasses! We have to wait for a while until they get back, especially glasses! After all, it is still far from being a Sheraton and charging the value of a 4 stars! And look, I've been on several Sheratons around the world! I think this is all bad for the network! They should close the rooms and go free as soon as they are reformed, and regarding breakfast, whoever stays, wants a standard Sheraton breakfast in a cosy and beautiful space, with black coffee served on the table and options on request! Let's wait and see if they improve with time! As it is in high season, it should probably happen in the summer! But until then, do not stay with created perspectives, so as not to be disappointed!

Nice hotel, well located, old but very elegant and nice decoration. The room, a little small, the bed wonderful, very comfortable, a lot of noise around the hotel, we were on the 10th floor, both day and night and inside the hotel and outside on the street. Since because of the heat we had to open the window. 32 degrees in Bariloche, since it does not have air conditioning. The bathroom has a good shower and water pressure, but it does not have a window or extractor fan and the door did not close. The best thing about the hotel is the pool and terrace with the whirlpool tubs, wonderful with a spectacular view of the city. The breakfast, poor and expensive, because they also told me I booked without breakfast, we searched together with the receptionist on the reservation page and nowhere does it indicate it. They didn't mention it to me when I registered either. And I should have paid it anyway. Just the first day. Because there are places nearby with wonderful breakfasts for a third of the price. It also does not have parking, they have an agreement, you pay it separately. A little far but a spacious and safe place. Nice hotel but for the same price you can find similar ones with breakfast and parking.

This is a lovely hotel situated perfectly within the centre of the town. Staff are mostly friendly and welcoming. The rooms do not have air conditioning but fans are available.
On our first evening dinner was of a high standard.
My only complaint relates to the bar staff. Both men sat aside the bar area looking at their phones. On asking for service they were unfriendly telling us (and our friends) to scan the menu. Service was slow and austere. This was the evening of 22 Jan. Their attitude put us off and to that end we all ate elsewhere the second night.
Breakfast staff, reception workers etc were excellent.

The location of this hotel is perfect, in the center of things but just at the edge so that the rooms are quite quiet. The rooms, most of which face a magnificent lake view, are comfortable, and the decor is perhaps somewhat dated, almost retro, but I felt had a specific atmosphere. Charming fireplace, big whirlpool tubs in the bathroom, comfortable beds. The hotel will be going a massive transformation to become a Sheraton, and I hope that a lot of the personality of this hotel will not be sacrificed into anonymity.
Spa: lovely, warm indoor pool, with a lifeguard (who also politely and tactfully encourages people to shower before entering the pool, so I think this pool is the cleanest one, outside of Japan!) The hot tubs outside can be reserved - a simple process, which avoids queues, and they are lovely and highly recommended, with the lake view. The spa has lots of space, nice sauna, great workout room.
Breakfast: tasty, very nice food, home baked sweets and amazing breakfast staff that will do anything possible to accommodate the guests.
Staff: not only in the breakfast room, but the check in and front desk were uniformly amazing, as well as the cleaning staff and the spa. Helpful, International level staff.

I hardly slept. I paid a lot of money, so I would be staying in a place I believed would enable me to have a good night's sleep after a 31-hour flight. That was FAR from true! I felt like the walls were made of paper; I was woken up throughout the entire night because I could hear every single thing, every sneeze, every conversation, every footstep or door closing. Wild waste of money and a complete bummer. In short, reality doesn't equal the aesthetic images... Noteworthy details: Fairly good location if you desire a downtown hotel. They put a lot into their aesthetics but not into the actual quality of the place. If you are there to take pictures and send back home to make your friends and family jealous, then stay here. If you actually want a GOOD night's sleep, I'd recommend you keep looking!

Beautiful place, nice decoration and AMAZING view. That jacuzzi on the top of the building with the view to the snowy peaks was so cool!!! However, the employees in there were kinda cold. And an employee tried to charge me for water in the breakfast… did I mention they can’t speak Portuguese, can’t speak English and can’t even speak spanish slowly? 🤦

I went for one night to try and ended up staying 4, from Walter's reception until Agostina checks you in, super friendly and helpful, the beautiful room was super equipped and comfortable. They have a relaxation room with a view of the lake. You need to come to La Paz, which conveys it is incredible, then in the spa you find that if you have any problem it makes you forget about it. I'm looking forward to the twist at the restaurant since it was a little late, a tiramisu instead of cocoa had cinnamon, a base of red fruits with coffee doesn't stick much, so I'm looking forward to chef Fontan's reforms. I will be back

Although the hotel is well located, close to the center of Bariloche, the facilities are old, somewhat run down and far from a standard of the Sheraton chain. It should be noted that it has been one of my worst experiences in this hotel chain, the uncomfortable bed and pillows, of terrible quality, the room did not have air conditioning, it had a small window that allows the outside ventilation with which enters the smell of the ducts of several restaurant extractors located in the front of the building. Breakfast, included in the rate, is terrible.

The hotel has an unbeatable location, close to the center and also to the lake I stayed one night for a medical event. They assigned me a room with a lake view and a private terrace. The views are spectacular and I highly recommend them. The room is very spacious, with a living room and fireplace in addition to the terrace. It had a safe, minibar and hair dryer. It offers complimentary breakfast, with quality products and a variety of fruits, pastries, hot dishes, infusions and juices. Two details that caught my attention about breakfast, and that could be improved: the juices are not natural and the variety of fruits was limited The reception staff is very friendly

I stayed for 4 nights with friends and we were impressed with the service. From before arrival in the planning I achieved communication with Nicolas Mascaretti. For more than a month we were in communication by email where he made many accurate recommendations. From transportation, places to visit, restaurants, excursions to where to rent ski clothing. The day before arrival he confirmed that we would have a room available upon our arrival in the morning. To my surprise, they assigned me a very nice one with a spectacular view of the lake. Apart from every day at breakfast all the employees were very friendly and called me by my name. Which made me feel special. The hotel has a spectacular location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars. The pool is also a lovely area especially to relax and escape the cold on rainy days. I definitely recommend and will stay at the Panamericano Bariloche again.
