I had an amazing time in The House. The staff was like a makeshift family to me. I actually went to Bariloche three times during my trip in Argentina because I like it so much. The staff is amazing, the breakfast is delicious, the beds are comfortable, the showers are hot and the is WiFi strong. Do you need anything... More

We only stayed one night.....this place needs a really good clean. Not only the rooms but also the central areas and the bar too. The accommodation is up a tight staircase (dirty carpet and mousetraps) and our triple room was in the attic. The bedsheets were clean but the duvet was covered in stains.....and the third bed in the room... More

I'm going to stick to the facts for this section: -friendly staff -toilets don't flush -no door for the oven -very small showers -500 pesos for a double private in the low season -bed was sunken in the middle -only common area was a very small kitchen -grocery store within a block -good breakfast -unattached toilet seats and more often... We stayed for a week and did a mix of skiing and tours. When we arrived we needed to arrange ski pass, ski equipment and travel to the ski resort and Maru at the hostel was really helpful and made everything much easier to sort out. The breakfast in the morning was exactly what we needed each morning too. The... More

Nice hostel with clean dorms, good kitchen, spacious living room. There is a café attached, supermarkets and the lakeshore close by. The garden is nice to sit in the sun or in the shade and listen to music. The St. Bernhard's dog "Jack Daniels" guards your bicycle, car, motorcycle or whatever at night. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast... More

When we arrived the staff was very nice with us. It was the first time we visited Bariloche, and they were very handy on what kind of activities were the best for us. The hostel is good and clean, everything is close to, which is so confortable. The breakfast is complete. The city, the hostel, the people, everything was excellent!!!

I dont know if it was because we arrived at a bad time (he had 40 people coming for the next day, so he was prepping) but he was really unattentive to us. Also the room was freezing and the kitchen sealing had moulded and was crumbling, so when it Rained it rained through the sealing. When the owner was... More

Big disappointment at Christmas - tiny private bathroom - wet room - was a complete rip off. Got mauled by bed bugs and had to go to hospital. Subsequently ignored by the manager who then feigned interest but thought a refund for that night was unreasonable. The kitchens are ill-equipped and not very clean. Don't stay here - Bariloche has... More
