great view from the bedroom window, horrible service. The guy who worked there yelled at us in 2 different situations and the water in the shower was freezing! After one night we moved to the hostel across the street.

Great hostel, in a great location. Stayed in a private room ,which had a wonderful view to the lake and private bathroom (hot water and clean). The hotel staff is really nice, and will help you with anything you want (tips for what to do, what bus to catch, etc). It has a nice terrace where you can just chill,...

We stayed in the 6 bed dorm, and because it was high season it was expensive. The attitude of the Pudu staff is you put up with the bad service and quality they give. The dorm wasn't clean, the beds were old, the sheets stank (not clean). The bathroom was disgusting, dirty, smelly, no window. The lock on the door...

This hostel is well located in downtown and has an spectacular view of the lake. Tomás B, the guy at the reception is very nice and helpful. It has good showers and breakfast is sweet with crunchy toast and jams. If I go back to Bariloche I would definitely stay at this hostel again.

Although young staff did their best to be helpful the place was dirty and smelt very musty. Doors had locks that weren't working properly. The place desperately needs work. Breakfast was poor and rates were expensive compared to much better places in town. The only thing going for it was good views of the lake.

Whilst this hostel is in a good location, and has great views of the lake, it really can't be recommended. The carpet in our 4-bed dorm was damp, the whole place smelt musty, the bathroom obviously hadn't been cleaned properly in ages. Pillows were awful too. Young staff were keen to please, but the state of the building lets the...

Disappointment at Pudu Hostel One night during our stay, the guy (Thomas) who worked 6 days a week at Pudu Hostel had a little too much to drink and tried to kiss my girlfriend. Hardly, professional or respectful, I'm sure you'll agree. On checking out, I told Thomas that I wasn't happy with what had happened the night before. He...

Cleanliness - as a traveller I don't expect the world. We stayed in an 8 bed dorm with its own bathroom. The room was dirty, the bathroom was disgusting. The lock on the bathroom door was terrible & i was locked in for 20 mins, when the guy on duty decided the solution was to kick the door in, before...

Stayed in a private double room that was clean and had great views of the lake. The kitchen, bar area, and garden were great places to chill and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was unfortunately poor. Wifi is only strong on the floor where reception is. It's not quite as good overall as Tango Inn a few more...

“my room is the one with the ohm on the wall, its a matrimonial bed with a private bathroom. the bathroom is small and dirty. the shower does have hot water, but it takes a while to heat up. the room heater works, but it doesnt put off much heat. The room is poorly lit and there is no closet, and only one place to hang towels or jackets, behind the bathroom door. the room isn't worth half of what i'm paying. The view is pretty nice, you can see the lake, but you also see a bunch of ugly buildings.nothing special considering lots of places in this town have a view of the lake.”

“Our dorm was right by the outdoor common area and so was very noisy - this isn´t a complaint, merely an observation so people may request a different room.”
