The hotel is great for families with young children and also for couples. The staff are very attentive and are always willing to help with whatever is needed. They booked our return transfer from the airport and the driver (remis) was extremely punctual. Breakfast (paid separately) is excellent: we ordered the express and was always delicious, with hot breads and croissants. The facilities are well cleaned, and you can hire the cleaning and swap service of bed and bath clothes separately, as your need. We find this very good because it is a very complete cleaning and you can choose the day and time most convenient. If it's not necessary on a certain day, just don't ask. As for the location, it is important to consider that it is located at km 7 of Av. Bustillo. It's not in the central area, but all the excursions go by to pick you up at no cost (do this in all hotels located below km 8). We used a lot of Uber, and we had no difficulty going to the attractions (Cerro Cathedral and Cerro Otto). Only on the turn it was more difficult to find transportation, but we managed to use a taxi and did not have much price difference compared to Uber (for example, a ride from cerro cathedral to the hotel was at 12500 pesos on a Sunday afternoon in July/2024, with the 5 fare, which is the most expensive). I recommend buying things to take in the hotel and eat at night as delivery services are restricted only to the central area. There are a few restaurants in the vicinity, which open for lunch and dinner. El Patacon closes on Mondays, but Ceylan opens every day and has great options. Finally, the hotel has a heated pool and some outdoor areas, but we do not use these spaces because of the cold. Overall we consider it a great accommodation option in Bariloche for any time of year.

The place is wonderful and the people's attention even more. Makes you want to stay all day at the hotel enjoying the wonderful views of the lake. They offer an optional menu of meals served in the room at a very good price and delicious. The only thing to note is that the pool is outdoors (anyway, you have a locker room next door and otherwise you can use the Jacuzzi in the room). I'd definitely come back.

Beautiful hotel n excellent customer service Excellent customer service from my questions prior to arriving to every request b4 n during our stay. Our suite Bosque#6 was spacious, very clean n had an amazing view. Entire hotel is lakefront with a $5 can ride into town. All tours picked us up from the hotel. Plenty of hot water n a large jacuzzi in the bathroom. Living room was large enough to host our friends staying in smaller rooms (same hotel) for wine after dinner. Kitchenette had a microwave, dish soap n sponge n plates/ glasses etc. bathroom had soap, shampoo/conditioner. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Bfast we got room service..had a ton of food n was delivered promptly. Room darkening blinds n a comfortable bed with extra blankets n pillows made for a great night's sleep. We stayed for 3 nts n wish we could hv stayed much longer.

We spent four nights at the Lirolay and never got tired of the breathtaking views of the lake. The location was also convenient -- between the heart of town and the "Circuito Chica" loop/activities. Town is a bit hectic, so we enjoyed being outside of it.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great jacuzzi tub and nice in-room mini kitchen. Breakfast was not included in our price, and the basic breakfast option was pretty limited (toast, croissants, coffee, OJ) but there is an option to pay more for additional options. The hotel pool is not large, but a nice environment generally. There's also access to the lake if you're brave enough to take a dip in the cold water. The staff was very friendly and helpful overall.

I couldn't have wished for a more wonderful first visit, both to Argentina, and to San Carlos de Bariloche. From the moment I arrived, I was swept away by the captivating beauty of the majestic Andes mountains, and the pristine waters of Nahuel Haupi.
When I first arrived, Alejandro was very kind and informative, helping me with my luggage, and offering me fresh baked treats and juice, while informing me of the many things I could experience, both in town, and the beautiful natural surroundings nearby. My cozy suite, complete with an ornate old world brass key, was plush and comfortable, including a fully stocked kitchen, living room with pretty lake views, and a bathroom complete with a jacuzzi tub, rainfall shower, and even a french bedit. Rustic charm with every amenity. The Lirolay, itself, feels like a place right out of a fairy tale, adorned with hand carved cedar and slate, inviting you to enjoy sweeping views of the mountains and lake beyond.
Later, during my stay, on a day when the winds and rain changed my hiking plans, Agustin was there to provide me with room service, that made for a nice relaxing afternoon indoors.
Everyone at the Lirolay was so kind, including the lovely cat that lounges inside the office and would greet me home after a long day out exploring! I've heard tale, that he is secretly the boss. *wink*
Bariloche has so much to offer, with its many amazing restaurants, and its world famous chocolates and ice cream, to hiking to see the cinnamon colored Arrayanes trees, and sharing some delicious roadside empanadas with a crested caracara in the park. I think it may have been said best, when a local mentioned to me, "It feels like being in another world." Bariloche truly is a magical and awe inspiring place that will take your breath away.
I recommend the Lirolay to anyone wanting to experience the very best of what Bariloche has to offer. The incredible caring of the managers and relaxing ambiance it provides during your stay are second to none.

What a charming and beautiful apartment suites. The property is stunning, unobstructed lake views, gated property, private beach, en-suite jacuzzi tub, pool, fire place, kitchenette, and convenient location. The suites offer everything you need to feel at home.
The staff is very hospitable and briskly responsive to questions and requests. Alejandro spoke excellent English and went above and beyond by taking the time to help us trip plan our visit in Bariloche and surrounding cities. Agustin in the evening was very thoughtful and helpful to take care of our questions and requests for some in-house services. Wonderful team!
Lirolay has some great room service amenities for in suite breakfast, snacks, meals and drinks. There was a pretty nice wine list with bottles to purchase for a cozy night in with fire wood. We didn’t have much time to enjoy a full body massage but what a perfect place to have one.
It is located near some beautiful and walkable restaurants and stores.
We clearly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future. Thank you for having us and your excellent hospitality.

The experience of staying at Lirolay suites was tremendous. I travel with family in my case, but the place adapts perfectly to a trip as a couple. Excellent location near the center, near the small circuit. Unmatched cleanliness and attention from all staff. Always willing to provide information and personalize the experience to make it unique. The apart has a small beach. In addition to having a beautiful view of the Lake, on hot days the very intimate beach can be enjoyed with few people. The outdoor heated pool is also very well located and overlooks the lake. The rooms have a beautiful view, mostly with an outdoor terrace, very well decorated, with a typical Bariloche style. The equipment and designer tableware. Room service with a varied menu, restaurants within walking distance. A beautiful place to enjoy in summer. We will return in winter!!! I highly recommend it!

4.5 stars! We had a wonderful four night stay at Lirolay Suites in December. We are a family of four (two teenagers), and stayed in two suites with incredible views of the lake. The rooms are decorated with character and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed having breakfast delivered to our room each morning. The pool was lovely - some days quite hot and other days a little cool. There is access to a public beach on the lake, although the water there was simply too cold for swimming. We rented a car, so it was easy for us to drive into town when necessary and also drive to other sights further out of town. I think it would be difficult to stay here and just rely on taxis or public transport. The staff is wonderful. They are available on What's App almost 24/7 and very quickly responded to every inquiry I made. Some of their restaurant recommendations were not great, and unfortunately I can't recommend any of the restaurants we ate at in Bariloche! The chocolate, however, was excellent.
A few little things: * I would have preferred air conditioning. On very hot days, the rooms were a little too warm for me at night. That being said, very few hotels in the Patagonia Lake District seem to have air conditioning. * For longer stays, it is tough not having housecleaning service and eating in the room. By the end, it felt dirty and our bathroom trash was overflowing. * Would be nice to have a gym.

Regarding cleaning, you can request a quick service or a change of linen as many times as necessary during your stay at a modest price. Regarding air conditioning, as you mention, it is not popular to have it here, since the nights are always cool and nothing is more beautiful than the breeze from the lake during the afternoon/night. If the suite is ventilated, not closed, it never raises high temperatures. Here in Patagonia, good heating or a beautiful fireplace like all the suites have is always prioritized. We went on the recommendation of a couple who spent their honeymoon there. He didn't let us down and exceeded any expectations. The place is beautiful, clean, complete. Ideal for resting.
