We have been travelling around South America now for 4 months and we found ourselves spending a little more time than planned in Salta due to a broken suspension on one of our motorbikes. We spent in total two and a half weeks at the beautiful Casa Hernandez with Alex and Reijke and we couldn't have wished for a better...

Our stay at this place was great. We chose to be picked up by Alex from the airport which was a comfortable and pleasant trip to start a perfect stay. On arrival, we were informed about all facilities by him and his partner Rijkje and provided with a bus-ticket (very practical) which we paid for on check-out (at least for...

Casa Hernandez is in San Lorenzo a few miles outside Salta. It is a quiet, affluent little town and very verdant. There's not a great deal to do but it is pretty, there are some nice walks and a few reasonably good restaurants. Getting into Salta was easy but as we'd already had a few days there we didn't bother....

Given the title of my review, one can discern that there are only positive things to say about Casa Hernandez and the hosts, Alex and Rijke. They are the epitome of "do what you love and love what you do"! Everything was wonderful....breakfast, location, recommendations, room, etc., etc. Thank you!!!

As soon as we arrived at Casa Hernandez I knew my partner had picked a good one. The house is beautiful, decorated with Rijkje's art work and the room was huge. Rijkje showed us round the garden too and then gave us some reccommdations on activities to do. She was really welcoming and helpful. We met Alex after dinner and...

Very comfortable beds with lovely sheets and towels. Spotlessly clean. Delicious home made bread freshly made for breakfast each morning. Home made yogurt too! Such a pleasure to return here to the peaceful garden and Alex and Rijkje's company after a day's sightseeing in Salta. We were recommended to two wonderful museums in Salta by Rijkje. Very helpful being provided...

We spend three nights at Casa Hernandez. Only positive things can be said about our stay. We arrived after a long bus ride from Mendoza. We got a warm welcome from Alex and Rijkje (with ice cold Salta-beer!). So we felt more than welcome. This feeling stayed for the rest of our stay. Two lovely people who just want you...
