Small areas for dogs, but several available. Odd street configuration. Ask before driving a 40 ft RV the narrow streets and location to park. We had quite a difficult time parking and leaving. There is road work being done entering the park on Main Street; therefore be prepared to maneuver carefully.
Enjoyed our two week stay at Mesa Spirit RV Resort. Well kept pools and spas as well as a pool/snooker room with approx 9 tables. Close to restaurants and shopping. Easy access to tourist areas. The resort has many planned activities, however they were not available during our time there as it was too early in the season.
We drove from Ventura County CA to stay 2 nights at Mesa Spirit for a family wedding. We had been told that the 1000 Trails campgrounds were great and we should join so Mesa Spirit was our first visit to a 1000 Trail campground. It was a horrible visit. We were put in a spot next to the camp ground wall on the other side was a major 6 lane roadway that was busy night and day. We were far from any pool area and in a rabbit warren of single wide mobile homes. There were many spots near the pool area and no apparent reason we had to squeeze into a spot surrounded by these homes. The campground is a maze of small streets which made trying to get family to come see us or get us a real problem. While the pool areas looked great they were very far away to the point it was impracticable to walk there.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The park is very clean and well maintained. We stayed in our own RV, but it appears that rentals were very nice as well! Would recommend this place to all 55+ people.
The staff was exceptional in both making us feel welcome and helping out with getting our 5th Wheel to our site and helping with setup and answering any and all questions we had. The site was big, level and met all of our expectations.
