We spent a night here. The bathroom sink had only one tap, only cold water, the shower had hot water. The room was fine with a nice screened window that allowed the nice sounds of birds to be heard in the morning. The road next to the hotel is a dirt road. The continental breakfast is very minimal, coffee and...

Although the rooms are quite simple the hotel as a hole is very nice and well attended, basic, I would say very acomodated for an uper 2 star hotel. There was no shampoo, "they run out" The price was very good too

We had fairly low expectations for this place based on the reviews, and actually it wasn't too bad at all. We stayed for 2 nights. Our room was large and fairly clean; aircon worked well and bed was comfortable. Room was cleaned each day. Wifi was mostly excellent, surprisingly! We could Skype no problem. Breakfast was basic - the first...

A small hotel with large rooms very close (400 metres from the bus terminal) People in the hotel do not speak English but nevertheless are very helpful. They order for us a dinner ar a very low price because it was raining so much outside. Very nice swimming pool and unbeatable price (450 pesos = 30 euros) breakfast included !!

We very much enjoyed our three nights at La Toscana. Our room was simple, certainly not modern but comfortable, we loved the restaurant, enjoyed sitting by the pool and found the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located for visiting Iguazu Falls from both Argentina and Brazil. We have no hesitation at all recommending this place.

Very friendly family-run place. Simple rooms cmfortable enough. Good value for money but the main road is not too far and can be heard from the swimming-pool. Easy access to the ruins (20mn walk) and to the main road. Not too far from the "center" of the village.

Good comfortable place to stay in an area where there are not many options. Owners are Italian and spoke no English but made every effort to help us. Room was simple and clean. Great pool. Recommended.

The reviews for this place are generally good and it's the only hotel mentioned in Lonely Planet for San Ignacio but we had a terrible time here. The room was dirty, the paintwork was a mess, and we had to deal with an enormous spider, two crickets, and a host of smaller uninvited guests. The bed was uncomfortable, the sheets...

Like almost all the other reviewers, I too loved La Toscana. My room was very large and very clean, the staff incredibly friendly and attentive and the pool a real treat to escape from the summer heat. The wifi worked great and was free though only in the lobby which got quite hot in the afternoons when I was there...

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved the place. Nice comfortable rooms in lovely surroundings. The best part was the owner and the staff. Warm, welcoming and nothing was too much!

“Since it is in a quiet neighbourhood, our room was quiet (except for the birds!) even though we were at the front of the hotel.”
