The Amerian was comfortable, a welcome drink of local origin was offered the first night by the infinity pool. The rooms were a little shabby and not too clean in spots, but nothing offputting. The lobby is huge and open and a good place to meet before dinner in the restaurant or a trip to the bar. The food was...

Room was adequate but WiFi poor - kept cutting out. Breakfast was OK but while the dinner portions were large, the quality wasn' t good. I emailed and face book messaged them about three weeks before we arrived for the likely cost of at a taxi from the airport but did not receive any reply.

The Amerian Hotel is in need of a good face lift in the rooms. I had a room at the back with a good view of the Parana river ad the swimming pool. Bathrobes were available so a trip down to the pool seemed right. The pool is nice but not very deep with many different levels to hit your...

this hotel is located overlooking the point where the three frontiers meet ( Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina ) and it has a priviledge location, it has a hot tub, a great pool that connects with another one, very quiet, their breakfast buffet is superb, their food for dinner or lunch is excellent too, they are well located, not too far...

This hotel is in a great location but I feel it needs a little TLC as it's looking tired and run down. We still enjoyed our 2 nights there but we wouldn't have wanted longer. The breakfast was good but not fantastic but we didn't go hungry and the one evening meal we had was lovely. Not sure if we...

We loved this tropical hotel! Near Iguassu Falls, it has cavernous common rooms, big guest rooms, a good bar offering generous pours, and an outstanding breakfast buffet. We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant two nights, and had a fabulous tine -- one night being a parilla grill of various Argentinian meats, wonderful salads and sides. The pool area is...

We stayed in this hotel during the Christmas 2016. We had Christmas Eve celebration dinner there and had great time. There was even a Santa came to distribute presents to the kids. Great staff and good food in the restaurant.

We stayed here over New Year's Eve. There was a wonderful Asado to celebrate the holiday. The rooms, however, have seen better days. There were several places in the hotel that were built to be fountains that were turned off. The design is an open air atrium, which is pretty, but allows for more noise. The towels were very small...

We had many problems with our flight (cancellation with the soonest next flight two days later). The Amerian representatives were extremely accommodating and were able to shift our days in the hotel. They also upgraded us to an enormous suite at no extra charge. The hotel is a bit dated, but still luxurious. It slightly reminded me of the hotel...
