When we arrived the receptionist pulled our itinerary apart and tried to keep the original. I explained that we needed the itinerary to know our plans for the next couple of days. Another receptionist then photo copied 1 page and handed back to us which still did not give us the information we needed over the next couple of days....

Atmosphere and surroundings are beautiful. Quaint cottages in scenic surroundings. Swimming pool. Bathroom water accumulates. Lock is tricky. Telephone and Visa card machine did not work. No drinks in frigobar

Cute little bungelows for rooms. Basic but very clean, no screens in windows housekeeping always left windows open, lots of bugs. Bugspray was available in minimart. I have a bad ankle so the uneven trail to the rooms really sucked. The entire staff was great, very helpful and friendly. Larger pool empty during our stay, overcrowing in smaller pool. Buffet...

We arrived with a small group of 5 and stayed in a bungalow in the grounds. The room was basic with few frills except a fridge. No bath, but a shower. Door opened directly onto the outside where there were a couple of plastic chairs to sit on, There was a swimming pool in the grounds but as we experienced...

As an argentine who has been glad to stay at any of those trashy hotels in Kissimmee near Disney and has been gladly surprised how those basic hotels provide you with a welcoming good american service, it is sad to write about a hotel that is supposed to be good in an Argentine touristic area. The facilities are basically good...

The (Complejo Turistico) Americano is situated at the very edge of town on the road to the cataracts, with a bus-stop close by. The hotel concept is good in priciple: there is a reception building, restaurant, shops and a games room cum bar clustered about a swimming pool; brick built units house accommodation of various types (ours comprised 8 individual...

We stayed at the American Iguazu. Hotel was really nice and you are at a tripoint. Tripoint allows you to see three different countries. From where we were located on the Argentinian side, you could look out of the balcony and see Brazil and Paraguay. Words cannot describe Iquazu Falls. Definitely the highlight of the trip!

Rather than having hotel rooms in a large building, the standard rooms are in small cabins with four unit to each building. The room was great, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was huge and clean, and there was a big TV and air conditioning. The restaurant is not great, and the hotel is located far from town, so you...
