Pretty simple - you pay through the nose to stay within the park, which is a real bonus as you can get up early and check out the waterfalls minus the crowds. It's mighty expensive, but if you can afford it (two or three nights is all you need) it's just about worth it. Despite the price, the rest of...

Starwood considers this hotel a 5-star but realistically it's closer to a 2 or 3 star. The rooms have allegedly been renovated but aside from a fresh coat of paint they're falling apart. The restaurant is mediocre, half the hotel is covered in tarp and scaffolding. If you're considering a stay here I'd wait and see what they do to...

While this was far from the best hotel we stayed in throughout the trip, there was no substitute for staying in the park. Service was fine as was the food, though neither exceptional. I would highly recommend it if only because it was so easy to walk to the falls and to get back and forth.

Staying in the Park is the best way to see the park. The trails are right outside the doors of the hotel and easy to access. Going early or late in the day allows for solitude and a chance to take pictures without so many people. The hotel offers large rooms with wonderful views. The breakfast is delicious with lots...

We had just 2 nights at Iguassu so we thought we would make the most of it by staying within the park. We didn't opt for the Falls View room because we had read that the view from the public areas was great. This was so true. After a day walking the trails we headed up to the roof terrace...

You can't beat the location of this Sheraton - it is right inside the Iguazu park on the Argentina side. Despite being close to trails to easily access the falls, you'll find that you only have to pay one entrance fee into the park. If you do not stay at the Sheraton, I heard that if you come back for...

If you are visiting the falls on the Argentinian side, stay here. This is the only hotel within the Argentinian side of Iguazu Park (Hotel Des Cataratas is the only one in the park on the Brazil side). Can’t beat the location. It’s about a 5 min walk to the trails, and maybe a 10 min walk to get to...

As the only option for actually staying within the National Park the Sheraton has a distinct advantage over all the other accommodation choices in the area. The hotel itself is an uninspiring modern block, but the views from its windows and terraces and the incomparable setting make the cost of staying here worthwhile. The standard of the food in the...

The Sheraton Iguazu is the only hotel in the National park with spectacular views of the falls even from the foyer. On arrival we were told that as we only requested falls view we could not be accommodated as part of the rooms with view were being refurbished. At first we were annoyed but soon settled into our jungle view...
