I have stayed at the Suter Petit on my last 4 trips to San Rafael and it is the most comfortable and pleasant place to stay in San Rafael. The rooms are very clean and modern for San Rafael. Carlos and Maria are very accommodating, but the best part is the small number of rooms all on the ground floor....

Very nice little hotel, owner managed, Maria and her husband are very nice and accommodating. Rooms are very clean and nice, nothing super special for seasoned travelers but overall a great hotel, great value, safe location. Garden and the pool are very nice... Definitely would recommend and I will soon plan a family vacation there as well.

My pal Jeff and I had been fishing in the Junin de Los Andes area this past November for a couple of weeks and decided to head north to get warm and relax. We spent two fantastic days at this hotel. Carlos Suter is a perfect host. I would go back here the next time I visit Mendoza Provence. Added...

I enjoyed another 2 night stay here..Carlos and Maria are the most gracious hosts and provide very comfortable and spacious rooms. The patio and grounds are very relaxing. I spend 2 to 3 months per year traveling and exploring Argentina and this hotel is one of my favorite stops. Not to be missed!

Fresh homemade breakfast including breads and jams, great coffee and even eggs are served in a lovely rustic dining area. Clean, refreshing rooms and crisp cotton sheets on the comfortable beds were a treat- wonderful sleep! Large sliding glass windows open to the back terraces and to old lovely olive trees. This hotel is right beside the Suter winery and...

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I wished we had stayed longer in San Rafael. The owners are extremely helpful and recommended us some visits and restaurants in the area. We went during a slow period and the hotel was largely empty. Breakfast was buffet style with a nice selection of pastries and jams. The room was very...

We had a very nice say at the Suter Petit Hotel on a recent trip in November 2013. We had spent the day driving through the mountains and we were traveling south from Mendoza and decided to stay in San Rafael. Such a nice little town and a great place to stay. Maria gave us directions to visit Valle Grande...

We had to stay somewhere for the night in San Rafael, as our usual hotel of choice was full. Having looked around we found the Petit Hotel, and were warmly welcomed, late at night, by the friendly owners. The rooms look out over pretty gardens in a pleasant tree lined part of town.

“Book a room at the back, preferentially suite Álamo. It is less noisy. We had booked Gran Suite Olivo, but when we arrived at the hotel, we changed to suite Alamo, because the first room is closer to the road that pass in front of the premises.”
