We stayed here a couple of months back, and found the place clean, affordable and in a great location. Despite the negative reviews, we found everyone in the hotel super-friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.

The lady manager very helpful as is the cleaning lady who will get you coffee any time . Sure they don't speak English but this is their country .the location is great . The...

I am a backpacker, 37yrs old, 40+ countries visited, travelling with partner. We got double room with private bathroom for 180 peso including breakfast. ROOM: Very small and basic, hard bed, clean towels packed in a cealed plastic bagds, telephone and lamp strangly behind your head just above the pillow so mind your head every time you go to sleep,...

Great location, situated perfectly in the heart of Mendoza. The affordable price of a matrimonial room attracted us to this place, and considering the surrounding options, Zamora is probably the best-for-your-buck hotel in the area. However, the couple that owns and operates this hotel are surprisingly unpleasant people (and reading the other reviews, I'm relieved to find we weren't the...

I really liked this place. Awesome colonial feel + courtyard. Very friendly, charming staff. Rooms are very basic, but clean. Bathroom hardware/tile could use some work. Breakfasts were fine, normal by Argentine standards. Very good location within Mendoza, near the main park and square. There is one main room on the 2nd floor which overlooks the street which has a...

I called in advance and made a reservation. After getting there I was informed that I had to stay for two nights at least. I told them that I was arriving from a long trip and considerinf this if there were any chance for us to do the check in. A very cold face woman didn't care at all. First...

Nice clean rooms, friendly host, ok breakfast for Argentinian standards. But after we've checked out we left our luggage @ the hotel during daytime behind a locked door. Returning 5 hours later a girl (we haven't seen before) didn't know about this, but still brought us there. The door was unlocked, our camera gone. No time to discuss, we had...

Stayed two nights at this old slightly run down but lovely hostel. Quiet, clean, comfortable, friendly, conveniently located , with the average ARG breakfast. Beautiful old building with quiet courtyard mimicking plaza espanol in mendoza.

I do not like writing bad reviews, but DO NOT STAY HERE. We have been travelling for 3 months through Argentina. Everywhere else we have really enjoyed where we stayed. This place is the WORST. Staff are unfriendly to the point of sourness. Read all the other reviews if you need more information. We paid up to date each day,...

OK, OK! I fully take on board the previous comments made about the rooms and the staff. Accept the fact that the staff are not the happiest bunch in the world and accept that the rooms are small. Do that and the rest falls into place just nicely. It is a very clean hotel and the rooms are kept spotlessly...
