Service - one of the waitresses was asked help from stuck her hand in our face and walked off. We had to ask another 3 times for her help. She claimed she didn't speak English (in English). Rude is one word for her. The food was tasteless, chicken was tough to he point it should have been called tasteless jerky,... More

We booked a short escape from our holiday in Buenos Aires to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We booked this place because it advertised a swimming pool in the garden - but actually IT DOESN'T! If we hadn't already paid in advance we would have left. We arrived to find the pool had been filled in and a 'pavillion' in... More

I did not stay in this hotel as it has only six rooms ,but we went for tea and they served some lunch as well , it looked fine , but not extraordinary. The place is nice and if visiting Tige it is well located , no extra opinion , public toilets weren't clean and we asked them to clean... More

I have stayed at Villa Julia on two separate occasions the last couple of years and enjoyed each stay. The building itself is incredible - a turn of the century Victorian mansion converted to a hotel. The view is incredible from the rooms facing the river - not so good from the other rooms. The staff at the front desk... More

This hotel is amazing and if it were to be refurbished it would be a 6 star! It has a lot of potential but as it is it has loads of charm and a faults at the same time. I thought it was very good value for money. We stayed in the suite with a huge terrace and big bathroom,... More

À warm welcome and apparently a nice room. Airconditioning didn't do it. In all of THE 3 rooms we booked. In 2 rooms we didn't had water. In the morning some tables had still dirty cups of the night before. Althougt breakfast was very good.

On an organised tour we were taken here for lunch-very upmarket feel, friendly staff, and an extremely tasty 3-course lunch in nice surroundings (piano and comfortable chairs etc in the restaurant anteroom).Like being in a private country villa. Choice of tour operator is excellent. Pasta and meat options on menu were well presented , and dessert was delicious.

We stay at Villa Julia after having a bad experience in a nearby villa and we enjoyed the hotel and the royal treatment since we arrived. The room was clean, spacious, with air conditioner and all the amenities of a modern hotel in a beautiful last century villa. The location is perfect, close to everything. The employees were very attentive... More

I enjoyed my stay at this nostalgic beautiful place which is located a little bit remote perhaps - but this is part of the thrill. The staff was kind and helpful. I highly recommend this to all those who are weary and look for some rest and peace. I had not eaten all day when I arrived in the middle... More

We absolutely loved this hotel. Very small (5 rooms) and beautifully made up. It is in an old villa overlooking the delta near Buenos Aires. The staff were extremely attentive, and we were made to feel at home from the beginning. No detail is left out. Every time we left our room we would return to a room that was... More
