We stayed here on the last night of our trip organized by Imagine Latin America. From the moment we arrived we were regretting only staying one night. There isn't much I can add to the previous few reviews other than to emphasise how impressive the staff are. I have never received such an enthusiastic welcome in an hotel before and... More

Utterly delightful boutique hotel in a great location. The staff couldn't be more charming and helpful in this lovely hotel. Decorated to a high standard with excellent beds and lovely furnishings we couldn't fault this hotel. Would thoroughly recommend this place for style, ambience and convenient location .

From the moment you are greeted at the door, which looks so unassuming from the street, you breathe a deep sigh. The lovely appointed living room/ dining room is filled with books and items of interest to Argentinian history. Soft deep chairs await, unless you choose the small outdoor patio area with resident Siamese cat. Each of the 11 rooms... More

Staff really lovely. We stayed in "the Idealist" on the 3rd floor at the back, only guest room on the top floor. Out the back is a church with a school attached and it's a touch noisy at around 8am on school days, but it wasn't that big a deal. We had a small balcony and a big bathroom! The... More

OVERALL: Location does not get better than this for Palermo. When you're in your room, looking at the courtyard with the balcony doors open, or in the living area looking through a magazine it's very calm, quiet, and relaxing. Step out onto the street and your immediately in the heart of the Palermo action. Restaurants, shops, bars, etc. The lobby... More

We just finished an amazing 3 night stay at Legado Metico. I cannot sing the hotel and staffs praises enough. It's a beautiful boutique hotel in the the heart of Palermo SoHo. The location cannot be beat. You are surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. You are only a $6 (100 pesos) cab ride away from downtown which is perfect... More

We are still here on the last night of our honeymoon and the hotel is fabulous! The decor is to die for, the service is outstanding and the location brilliant! I can't tell you how many photos I've taken to try and recreate the decor when we get back home - it really is a chic boutique! Stay here!

The whole hotel is perfect . From the minute we walked in we loved it. The staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them . The room was delightful with a sweet balcony and great views. The breakfast was simple but everything you would want. If we came back to Buenos Aires we would stay here.

Thanks to Tripadvisor, after several visits to BA, I finally found the hotel I felt more comfortable and welcomed. It is a mix of a fantastic location, friendly staff, spacious and well decorated rooms. From the street it is difficult to identify the hotel, but once you get to the lobby, you are embraced by the atmosphere of a traditional... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
