A little review on Maria Teresa's tango house: I have been to Buenos Aires six or seven times, and I have stayed at Maria's house all but one of those times. The advantages are of being able to have other tango lovers in the house, so that you can go to eat together, shop, see sights, and of course, go...

I just returned from 2 1/2 weeks stay with La Casa de Maria Tango Guesthouse in Buenos Aires, my 2nd stay at this property. It's my favorite place to stay in Bs As while visiting for tango, as most of the other guests are also tangueros. There's always someone to go to milongas with, including Maria Teresa who is often...

My first trip to Buenos Aires was for tango in May 2014, and Maria's was the perfect place to stay. Even though I did not speak the language, from the moment I was picked up by Susanna at the airport, I knew I had found my home-away-from-home in this new country. Maria's Tango House is comfortable and charming, and I...

If you are a first timer to Buenos Aries or a well traveled tango dancer this is the place to stay. Maria and her lovely staff mostly family members now, will take very good care of you. The place is charming and centrally located for touring the city or going to MIlongas. Subway, Buses and Taxi's are very close by...

I chose to stay in Maria's Tango House after reading reviews on Trip Advisor recommending it by other solo female travellers. From the moment I was picked up from the airport by Maria's friend Susanna, I felt like I was with family. Alberto and Marta welcomed me that night, sharing delicious empanadas and wine and lending me Pesos until changing...

I spent three weeks at this guest house. I was travelling solo to experience a tango immersion. Maria Teresa is a consummate host and guide, and shares her passion for tango and socializing freely with her guests. Members of her family attend to your day to day needs on site, whether that's a charger for your phone, a local restaurant...

The room was perfect, the bed was great for two people, and it was nice to have a kitchen to use. We foud the rooftop a perfect...

My tango partner and I really debated on where to stay during our first trip to BA. Do we immerse ourselves in tango and the culture or do we go for creature comforts of a hotel? We decided that our whole reason for visiting BA was to dance tango, speak Spanish - immersion - so immersion it was! Maria's House...

I stayed at Maria's tango house for over a month in February-March 2013 and it was truly an amazing experience. The house is very nice and full of charm, and the location is very convenient for walks around the city and especially for all the tango related activities (milongas and tango schools are all close by). It also has an...

From the airport to the house (a very nice "portena" house in center of the city), the welcome was warm and sincere. The service is always available, the rooms are beautiful, practical. A good atmosphere is established between the different tenants, all tango addicts. Maria "coached" us for the wonderful milongas she likes and that is valuable in this megalopolis...
