Largest rooms i've ever stayed in, convinient location (subway 2 min walk, san telmo flea market just outside the road) and excellent staff. The airline lost my luggage and the reception staff went far beyond their duties to assist me. There s also a funky restaurant and wine bar at the groundfloor, a great place to have glass of Malbec...

From the outside, this hotel doesn't look up to much. But the receptionist was superb and I began to relax. We stayed here twice on the one trip and every time the rooms were great. Extremely spacious, really clean and well equipped. Breakfast is rather limited but what was on offer was of excellent quality. The hotel is amazing value...

We had the Extra Extra Large Room, and for a price of US$109 per night for 500 square feet, how could you say no? I was, however, curious, as that deal sounded too good to be true, so I went to tripadvisor, and the reviews seemed mixed, so I just decided to go for it. The stay, overall, was fantastic!...

I have stayed at Moreno a number of times and the hotel continues to be very confortable, with a nice and helpful staff. Very charming facilities, well located at the border of San Telmo, but also close to Calle Florida and subway stations at Plaza de Mayo. But we have a very bad surprise this year. It's 3:13 AM and I can't get to sleep because of all of the noise outside on the street. Beautiful hotel but if you can't even sleep what's the point of staying here? Art deco building charming, but they never soundproofed the windows. Asked before for them to move my room but was blown off... Would not stay here.

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
