In Feb/March 2016 I booked rooms for 36 people for 10 days. We are all crafts people. I began making my arrangements 6 months in advance. Manager Silvana helped me through the process which was new to me. The staff all spoke some English which helped very much. The staff was always polite, helpful, presentable, and courteous. The owners personally...

Location is superb -- walking distance to restaurants, bars, designer clothing stores and Plaza Serrano. The neighborhood of Palermo is fun and artsy neighborhood with a modern bohemian feeling. Nice grafitti art throughout the neighborhood. Staff speaks many languages with helpful tidbits throughout BA. Please do not forget your 21 per cent VAT reduction when paying with a foreign credit...

We found this as a bargain on bookings.com and it was a real surprise. Beautiful boutique hotel in a fantastic location (Palermo). Close to bars restaurants and cafes. Staff are very polite and the building and rooms are beautiful. Loved our stay here.

Okay, there are good sides in this hotel. - The building is beautiful and nice - They sell good coffee - Bed and sheets were really comfortable - Almost same price than in hostels - Location is okay. Not the best but not bad at all. However, there are huge problems that make the staying uncomfortable. I would not stay...

Thanks to recognize that our prices are that same as an Hostal. About your feedback, we don't understand the reason you made a booking through Internet platform when you were already in the hotel even knowing the policy of cancelation. You could have asked us directly for keeping your room until you get the key of your apartment and all...

We spent 4 nights in this great hotel with great location. We loved the bed, the airco, the coffee, the service and atmosphere. All staff spoke 3 languages fluent, and were extremely helpful. I hesitate between 4 and 5 stars. Some things could be improved (eg very small bathroom and no wifi in the room->4 stars), but the price is...

Managers are french and speak also spanish & english. The house is very nice, well decorated, with many stairs. Room is very clean, with a designed shower, conditioning air and a very confortable king size bed. Managers gave us some advices for restaurants and they are applying the new argentine policy concerning taxe refund for foreigners paying by credit card.

Well located in the heart of Palermo, the hotel layout and decor are quirky and shabby-chic - was not so keen on the saloon door between the bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast is very basic - coffee, juice and croissant. There is some outdoor space, a roof terrace. Marco at the front desk was superb and made great suggestions for local...

A fine combination of slightly convolutes corridors and different shaped rooms. Very charming! Kind and responsive staff but our room had only window through the door. Bathroom large and clean and with a good spacious bed.

I stayed a couple of days at Costa Rica, this stylish, a bit classy yet cosy Hotel in Palermo. Restaurants and bars are within reach, I always felt safe. The staff was helpful at all times, printing bus tickets, lending a SUBE card, giving advice for washing clothes, doing international phone calls etc. Silvina and the "french guys" were really...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
