I did have an interesting experience here... the power outed one evening, and I did get a little hassle from one or two of the people 'living' there (I think rental prices are extortionately high in BA). And horrific wifi. So a mixed bag really. Daniel, the owner, was definitely kind and helpful though, he made sure I had enough...

I am not picky but I have to say:the place is falling apart. In the period I stayed in, a door literally felt in a person! I reserved a room with bathroom and in the last day the toilet buttom felt in the floor. When the man that work in the hostel saw that, he spoke in a very aggressive...

My wife and I have been on the road for over 3 months with 3 kids. We regularly book in hostels and are not picky on lodgings. But we left Hostel Sol after one night. It is not a place you want to go to, unless your only criteria is low costs. The place looks nice on pictures but don't...

Next to the Subway(1 block) and close enough to the bus station(2/3 blocks). The owner is very nice, the only problem was that they only clean the room when you leave, so in the end the room was a mess.

This was the first place we stayed in Buenos Aires before eventually moving to BA Soho Rooms in Palermo. The overall impression we got on this place is that it's geared more towards younger people looking for a party environment. There are tons of people there at all times, day and night. Definitely not quiet, but could be good if...

Nice stay in this Hostel. If you are looking for a bed and maybe found some companion for a city tour this might be the hostel. From Bus station you just need to catch a bus directly to the door. Very easy to get around by bus and staff can help you with general tips. The accommodation is nice for...

It is good value for the money - I only payed 40 Argentine pesos for a dorm. Despite that it is clean and it is nicely decorated with a lot of light, high ceilings, a good kitchen and a nice patio. The breakfast is bad: they serve Danish and coffee. The location is fine. It is central but at the...

Inexpensive compared to other hostels in BA, but it's cold, noisy at night, and in a fairly unsafe neighborhood. The breakfast was decent, and the showers were hot, but nothing was very clean or comfortable.

Hostel is very easy to find. After reaching the gate and ringing a few minutes we got access to enter the building. The owner sitting at the reception desk hadn’t noticed for about half an hour that we want to check-in and kept talking on the phone. If don't care about details like toiled cleaned maniana (everyday maniana?) ;) it...
