A wonderful stay with kind and generous people. Maria is thoughtful, Eli is helpful, the rooms are generous, the standard of cleanliness high and the location unbeatable. Banks, cafes and a plaza nearby. It's worth staying for the elegantly set breakfast table...

I spent a total of 8 days with MarTaElena at her B&B in December 2015 and liked it a lot. She is a very lovely and helpful host who helped me pratice my Spanish quite patiently. You get to meet her nice family and the two dogs, too, as she lives on the same floor as the B&B. It is...

I chose this place from Lonely Planet plus the Reviews on Trip Adviser. I was a lone traveller Senior Citizen from Scotland making my first visit to South America. I stayed at Mansilla 3935 for two nights before taking the ferry to Uruguay then came back for one night before flying up to Peurto Iguazu to visit the Iguazu Falls...

We spent three nights at Mansilla. Marta and her staff made us fell right at home. Wonderful location with restaurants, bars, shops and public transportation within walking distance. The room was air condition, very nice bathroom. Very clean and quiet. If we every visit Buenos Aires again, this would be our first chose.

We recently spent 12 nights at Mansilla and can't recommend it highly enough. This was my second time there and I'll definitely stay again. It really is a superb B&B in a fantastic area of Buenos Aires, on a quiet tree-lined street but close to lots of restaurants, bars and shops. It's also a short walk from the nearest Subte...

My husband and I stayed a few nights in this very nice B&B last december and really enjoyed our stay. This B&B is actually a cool old house with high ceilings and antiques which gives your stay a very unique touch. Marta is really nice and will give you good tips for restaurants, tango shows or whatever you wish to...

Just a couple of hours after arriving at Mansilla3935, we already felt at home. Situated in the beautiful heart of Palermo soho the lovely Bed and breakfast with its antiques, silvery spoons and big paintings sovereignly neglects the fashioned and designed newer shops outside. And the owner Marta takes nicely care of her little kingdom and her guests. The bathrooms...

Very clean, cosy and friendly. Being given no front door key meant we felt bad waking them up coming back late some nights but they didn't seem to mind. The cold breakfast is lovely the first few mornings but after a few days we started craving for less sugar and more savoury. Fell in love with BA!! Palermo is nice...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

“Rooms either have airco in the room OR the room has a connecting window to the hall with airco. I personally prefer the rooms connected to the hall as there is no noticeable flow of air and the temperature is nice.”
 of 5 bubbles Erny_nl, 31 Jul 2012 | Read review
“All rooms are on the ground floor and internal - no windows onto the street - but you can get two looking onto small courtyards, which give the impression of more space.”
