Was very happy with this place. It was part of our honeymoon and Ariel took good care of us. The one double / loft room is beautiful. Breakfast is normal for argentina - but quite good with eggs and other hot things.

A nice, clean, quiet bed and breakfast. Provided a good breakfast of eggs, bread, fruit, yogurt, juice, cereal, milk, coffee, tea. Safe neighborhood. The owner was extremely helpful with recommendations and giving directions - made our visit go very smoothly!

I love Buenos Aires and have always looked forward to my stay at Palermo Viejo B&B. I travel from New York, where I live, and the fact that I just returned from my 6th visit to this wonderful B&B says it all! Breakfast is at a communal table so I get to meet the other guests who are from many...

Had a wonderful time here. The room we stayed in was clean and airy. Breakfast in the morning was tasty with eggs, fruit and breads. The owner was very helpful to help with transportation to where we wanted to go and helped book a tango. Nice area to walk around and shop.

So glad we found this little gem. The neighborhood is amazing, with a lot of stuff to do and very safe. The B&B is simple but with a touch. We found in the owner a friend and a good advisor for anything we wanted to do. We had the best breakfast served in this kind of lodging in all our...

This b&b is centrally located in Palermo Soho, with lots of great places to eat and drink just round the corner, also good shopping. The metro is a 15 min walk away, but buses are many and frequent. The breakfasts are always very good, the room is cleaned well and every day. What really makes the place is Ariel, it's...

My friend and I stayed there for 7 nights in the back double room. The location in Palermo was ideal with great shopping and dining options and very safe (which was especially important for 2 young women). We mostly got around Buenos Aires using the subway which was only a few blocks away. Our room was cleaned everyday and it...

The host/owner Ariel designed and oversaw the renovations in this unique home, where each room has its own different color scheme and decor. Buenos Aires is a huge city and new to us, so my wife and I greatly appreciated Ariel’s advice and help in such matters as finding a money exchange and food markets, using the bus system, and...

Palermo Viejo B&B was a perfect home base for our week in Buenos Aires. The owner, Ariel, was extremely helpful- from arranging airport pick-up , making restaurant and sightseeing recommendations, money exchanging tips, and everything in-between. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with Ariel every morning as well as with the others staying at this B&B. Rooms are clean and cozy,...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Stylish B&B in the heart of Palermo Viejo/Soho. The house is located in a 1901 building, traditional of those days in Buenos Aires neighborhoods. The Casa Chorizo has been renewed keeping its original style. High ceilings, brick and thick walls are one of the details to mention. As a narrow landmark the rooms are organized in a row, facing the side patio/garden full of green where hanging out after a long day is a must. All the rooms have private en-suite bathroom and two of them are big enough with a double level to accommodate more than two people, perfect for 3 or 4. The art work of different artists is found everywhere in the property which gives it a Bohemian atmosphere. The decor is simple, where each item was found in flea markets and auctions to make the B&B a warm and a perfect place to feel at home away of home. ... more   less
