For the seventh time since 2010, I have stayed at Palermo Viejo B&B in the heart of the Palermo Soho area of Buenos Aires. I just returned a few days ago and I already miss the city. Ariel, the owner and host of the B&B, is delightful and helpful in every way. It feels like I'm with family when I...

The hotel to stay in the BA ! This B&B has it all, from the traditional style and decoration of the complex to the tango music during breakfast. Mr. Ariel Socheheim rebuilt the original factory of his dad into a lovely B&B. He succssed in keeping it's character and homey style. The breakfast is fresh, the rooms are clean and...

Great location full of bars and restaurants. Quiet and simple but modern old house with very minimalist stylish. The service was great, warmth and very professional. And also I met the owner who attend this place personally. I like to tour in this way to feel the local culture.

This small Band B is in a perfect location for exploring the city. Run by the owner, to very high standards it is a traditional house with simple, spotlessly clean and very comfortable accommodation. Breakfasts include owner's home made bread and yogurt, there are facilities to make hot drinks at other times and rooms have a mini bar. The owner,...

This very pleasant B&B is situated in Palermo Viejo, an ideal location to stay when visiting Buenos Aires. The cobbled streets of this attractive neighbourhood are lined by old houses and huge leafy trees. It has a wide variety of good restaurants and cafes filled with a vibrant crowd of students and young professionals. There are also supermarkets big and...

I spent a week in the hotel. The room was convenient and clean. The owner of the hotel very nice as well as the cleaning lady. The hotel is located close to Palermo Soho which is a nice area full of restaurants, shops, cafés, and some milongas, e.g., Salon Canning and La Viruta. Public transport (buses) runs along the Scalabrini...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Stylish B&B in the heart of Palermo Viejo/Soho. The house is located in a 1901 building, traditional of those days in Buenos Aires neighborhoods. The Casa Chorizo has been renewed keeping its original style. High ceilings, brick and thick walls are one of the details to mention. As a narrow landmark the rooms are organized in a row, facing the side patio/garden full of green where hanging out after a long day is a must. All the rooms have private en-suite bathroom and two of them are big enough with a double level to accommodate more than two people, perfect for 3 or 4. The art work of different artists is found everywhere in the property which gives it a Bohemian atmosphere. The decor is simple, where each item was found in flea markets and auctions to make the B&B a warm and a perfect place to feel at home away of home. ... more   less
