Friendly, beautiful, peaceful, muy lindo patio and rooms, good breakfast, nice, interesting and efficient people, good location. Five blocks from the «subte». A small hidden paradise in a city of 15 million inhabitants. We've been there twice and hope to be back. We loved the decor! Eli

We spent 3 nights in this hotel and we loved it! the staff is very friendly and always ready to help. It is located in a very safe area in Palermo, at a walking distance from the subte and very close to bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. There is also a supermarket nearby. The room was small but very cozy,...

We spent 4 days in Solar Soler. We came to Buenos Aires aft two weeks of traveling in Patagonia, and longed for an urban time to end our vacation. Solar Soler gave us exactl that - great location in Palermo Hollywood, close to restaurants and bars. The room was clean, service was in a European level. The staff was very...

The people at this hotel were so nice! We felt very welcomed and safe. Is located in a good area, not too busy and close to coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, clothing stores and transportation. Their breakfast is very good and there was always someone around if you needed something. The room had a small safe for money and stuff.

Solar Soler was a charming hostel in the very pleasant neighbourhood of Palermo. Nice old house, peaceful and leafy courtyard garden and a gorgeous roof top garden. Breakfast was better than the usual fare encountered - wonderful superfresh medialunas and croissants along with toast, fresh orange juice, fruit and cereal etc. Only downside was our room (no.5) was a bit...

I was really satisfied with this choice. Location is good in Palermo, many restaurants close. The breakfast is very good, even with fresh fruit. Very nice and helpful staff. It´s nicely decorated, internet works fast and it is safe there. My room was in the patio on the ground floor. The bath is tiny but functional, not so much storage...

Excellent, friendly staff, beautiful courtyard, tasty breakfast with a good choice of fruits. The location is very convenient if you're exploring the Palermo area and its many great restaurants and vibrant nightlife. Safe and clean, close enough to the subway. For me, the only downside to it was that my room and bathroom were a little too small, and the...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
