The hotel is very old and the elevator is a bit scary and very noisy (will probably wake you up in the night). However, the room is huge (mine had a fully equipped kitchen), clean and wifi works fine. Breakfast is also nice and staff is amazing and super helpful. If you are looking for the best value hotel in...

I stayed in this hotel for three days in August. The hotel is quite old, and you will realize this quite quickly when going up the "elevator". Ask for a room on the first floor if possible, to avoid having to use this. The rooms are clean, but very basic. There is free wifi everywhere in the hotel. The hotel...

The room had a small 'seating' area seperate from the bedroom. Not much use, who wants to sit in a small 'room/passage way' and not in the main bedroom. Bedroom was good enough and the the hotel was in a good location. Breakfast was pretty average - lotrs of food but of average quality. Fine for one night , wouldn't...

My mother and I landed in Buenos Aires at 1am and headed to Suites Catalinas. When we arrived there, we were told that the rooms had no water and we were being sent to hotel Colon. I asked until when we'd have to stay at hotel Colon and I was told that we, my mother and I, could stay there...

I chose it because it was near Luna Park (a concert hall). Although the room is large, it is old and with a dusty air conditioning. A junior rugby team was staying at hotel and they were very noisy, coming back from parties in the morning straight for the breakfast. Then, the breakfast room was a mess. There was no...

We only stayed one night at the hotel as we had had to change our plans and needed to stay an extra night in BA. All was ok at the hotel but, compared to the other hotels in BA, this felt flat. Our suite was reasonably large but basic. No air con but temperature was ok. Staff's attitude was fine...

I was robbed in the lobby of this hotel within an hour of being there - passport, wallet, credit cards, immigration VISAS, everything. My room was not ready and I closed my eyes in the lobby after my overnight flight - I had my bags between ME and the WALL, shielded with my body. When I opened my eyes, they...

This hotel is totally overpriced, overheated, grungy and staffed by arrogant people who treat you like dirt. The elevators have lound beepers which sound everytime they passa floor and there is a loud announcement saying what floor the elevator is at and to close the doors all of which is clearly audible in the rooms. The central heating is central...

We stayed two nights, and we loved it. We booked online and got a really good deal. When we got there, we realized we had a suite (bedroom, bathroom and an additional room with a couch and a large entrance) with really high ceilings. It was very roomy, clean and useful. We also had a safe in our room with...

Dear Mpiecha. Thank you very much for your comments; especially about the cleaning you have found, and the very good breakfast you enjoyed. Hope to have you among our guests in the very near future. Yours sincerely, the manager.

I was there with my mother for 4 nights and we had a great time. The location is perfect, downtown, close to all the main attractions. It's a bit noisy but what isn't downtown? The staff was kind and helpfull and the breakfast was full of Argentinian specialties, maybe not ideal for some, but for those who want to taste...
