Stayed here for 2 nights - our room was great with a lovely en-suite, very clean and extremely comfortable. The staff on the front desk and in the breakfast dining room were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
Located in the downtown section of Buenos Aires, I would recommend this hotel. The location is great, rooms are not elaborate but nice and breakfast is good. What sets apart this hotel is the staff. I would just like to make this suggestion if visiting...More
I spent 6 nights here over two different stays and would definitely stay again. I found the beds to be very comfortable and slept very well each night. I also really appreciated the large bathroom and the very large shower with good water pressure.
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with
ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.

There is a full time attendant and a smallish pool that offer the option to turn on resistance jets to simulate lap swimming. The fitness center looked clean and well stocked but I only used the pool. The hotel is not in Recoleta but I preferred this neighborhood as the restaurants nearby were less touristy and everything was walking distance and felt safe.
