The picture they show does not correspond to the actual room. They made us stay in a very old room, with a lot of mold and a terrible bed. The sheets and pillowcases were also old and stained. A complete fraud.

Good, reliable hotel in nice neighborhood. We've been staying here for multiple family visits to Buenos Aires over the past six years. Restaurants nearby. Air conditioning. Easy access to Aeroparque. Nice breakfast. Luciano at the front desk is very helpful!

This hotel is well placed for quick access to AEP (Aeroparque Jorge Newberry), in a reasonably nice neighbourhood. The room amenities were of acceptable standard. The included breakfast was fine, if slanted towards lots of toast and marmalade. The front desk staff that we encountered were helpful if aloof. Just north along the street is a little takeaway place that...

We went to Buenos Aires from Santiago de Chile just for the weekend, and we were looking for a good place with affordable prices that will allow us to have a "home base"for us to be able to enjoy the city and its amazing nights. We found just the right spot and the Alpino Hotel gave us this answer, great...

The hotels misleads you not indicating that you will be charged a 21% tax on the quoted rate. The bed matress is of very low quality and uncomfortable. The bathroom is not very clean. The rooms walls are thin. Good location to the best part of town along Libertador Avenue. Not a good value per price. You can do better.

Wonderful staff, friendly and very helpful. Perfect location with access to the famous Palermo gardens ( Botanic park, Zoo, Japanese Garden,Rosedal Park), walking distance. Public transportation to anywhere, plenty restaurants around.

Although located close to Aeroparque Jorge Newberry (AEP) airport, I am not sure this property was worth the price I paid for an overnight stay. The beds in my room were small and not the most comfortable. However, the room was clean and spacious with a nice hot shower. The best part of my stay was the breakfast which had...

I stayed for 6 nights during March 2014. I used to live in the same area of Palermo until 10 years ago and always remembered the location of the hotel in Calle Cabello , not far from Parque Las Heras, Alto Palermo shopping etc. . The location is very good. However when I stayed there I soon became very disapointed....

We stayed at Alpino Hotel between flights, was fairly close to Aeroparque Jorge Newberry, about 10 mins in taxi/traffic. Seemed like an OK area of the city, we weren't really there long enough to tell, but the hotel itself was great value, a bit dated but still very comfortable. For $80US we had a quiet room on 4th floor, with...

This hotel was well located, but it is not worth the money they charged. We also stayed at El Conquistador which costs the same but was much nicer. This hotel has not been updated in a long time. It is in need of some renovations. The elevator has to be opened manually, the bathroom looked like it was 40 years...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
