This B&B is some kind of petite luxury hotel in the coolest Buenos Aires neighborhood (Palermo). Excelent if traveling in a romantic getaway (I did it for business and really worked out!). You receive personalized attention, the staff is really helpfull. The only con (which is not exactly something negative) is that in the kind of room I stayed (139...

I spent 2 weeks at the Malabia House in 2004 as part of a 2-month stay in Argentina. The Malabia House was far and away the nicest place I stayed during the trip. From the moment I got there, the staff was so helpful getting me settled, helping me get local currency, checking my email, and arranging for transportation. The...

We booked Malibia House for a stay in BA as it seemed to offer a high-end, luxury stay in a cool neighbourhood. And this is just what we got. Welcomed in by Juan and taken to a room with food and drink, we were talked through the area, given recommendations etc while our bags were handled – it felt like...

The degree of service and the helpfulness of the staff here is truely excellent. They always went out of their way to help us book reservations, restaurants, taxis etc. One of our rooms was on the main floor across from the kitchen and was a little noisy in the morning. The other room was on the top floor at the...

My wife and I stayed at the Malabia House for 5 nights in May 2007. I cannot possibly say enough about our experience...from the excellent location to the friendly and helpful staff to the excellent furnishings, this is the best B$B I've ever seen on any continent. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in BA. Palermo Soho is the best...

Malabia house is on a tree lined street in trendy Palermo, right near lots of bars, restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood is safe and there is a 24 hour guard. The hotel itself feels like a little house with two sitting rooms and a breakfast room downstairs. The rooms are comfortable and simply, but tastefully decorated. The best part of...

This 15-room hotel in the Palermo area is the perfect alternative to the faceless large hotels. In addition to comfortable and well-appointed rooms, this hotel has the most attentive, friendly staff I have ever encountered. I highly recommend this place, and the value is terrific.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
