This hotel's staff is so warm and welcoming from the desk people to the bell men, Mariano and Javier. Small boutique hotel with lovely breakfast. Free wifi in the lobby. Walk to Santa Fe, with nice restaurants and shops and walk to Recoleta stores and cemetery. Very centrally located. We recommend for US travelers as most of the staff speaks...

The only plus is location and sole staff Marion! Else, it can be avoided!! The staff is not friendly and welcoming. They are not helpful in anyways. I had requested to have bfast 10 min before they serve it, I was rudely denied. The internet in lobby is free but login expires after every 30min. The rooms are not that...

Very conveniently located hotel in the heart of Recoleta. Slightly dated but comfortable and a courteous staff. A good value for the price. Good breakfast daily and good exchange rates for the local currency. Would stay there again.

Stayed at hotel on three occasions over 7 weeks, ( part of package) firstly we thought service might have been normal for South America, but after travelling around the rest of the country, found senior staff to be unhelpful, rude at times and was the only place in all the hotels (20+) we stayed at that charged for internet, which...

We booked this hotel many months ago and when we arrived, were given the wrong standard of room to the one we booked. Once this was sorted out, the hotel was fine. It is centrally located and staff were very helpful. Breakfast is included in the price and was fine, although it is only continental. We took a Junior Suite,...

We spent three nights in this centrally located hotel. Our room was large, quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were able to change our money at reception at a very good rate, which was great, as we were reluctant to use street money changers. There were plenty of breakfast choices. The location was spot on,...

On March 1, 2014, my husband and I stayed at the Wilton Hotel on the recommendation of another friend who had been there the previous year - we were not disappointed. For a very reasonable price, we had a great room in a very convenient location with so many things within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay there again!

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
