Wonderful hotel, amazing upgrade and exceptional service! Nothing was too much trouble. Even for a hotel of this nature food and drink was absurdly expensive though and so had to head out often to avoid. Pool and poolside service was an excellent experience!

Beautiful hotel, away from the hustle and crowds. The hotel oozes sex appeal from the scent when you walk in, to the decor in the bedrooms. Pool was great for lounging and I loved the gym, large and well equipt. Service was pristine, Lucas was incredibly knowledgable and hospitable - loved him. One note on the location : great for...

I love the feel of this hotel when you first arrive. It transports you to another world! The food in el Mercado was amazing and the servers quite charming. I had been to the Faena in Miami and it's quite different from here style and service wise. But not to say I didn't like Argentina just different. Love the area...

Unforgettable moments there. The pool, the restaurants, the bars, the hall... It is a magical place with a touch of the Argentinian oligarch decadence that I one liked! I congratulate Mr Fanae, his hotel & other projects are nice catalysts in the harbour, the new barrio and give a flavor to it :) There was a parilla at night, it...

First visit to Argentina and stayed 5 nights at the Faena. Everything about this hotel is fantastic. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly, polite and helpful. The design of the hotel is beautiful, our room was good size, great decor and layout. The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home with me. The restaurant, Mercado...

Located in the Puerto Madero district, this is a super high end and hip hotel. Must not miss the tango show that they have in the hotel; and book in advance as it is very small and fills up fast. Very nice bar with live music as well.

I was asked to stay at Faena instead of the Hilton by our conference organiser and am thoroughly thrilled to have stayed there. On entering the foyer you are instantly impressed by the differences between this place and a "normal" hotel. The standard of the room was excellent, with attention to detail in the decor and fittings. The gym and...

We stayed at one of the residence apartments within Faena, larger than typical hotel rooms to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Apartment was great and quite cheap compared to regular hotel rates (search for it at airbnb) and by using it, you have access to all hotel amenities. However, nothing can describe how rude and arrogant Faena staff is. An...

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
