Excellent hotel. Extremely courteous staff. Rooms are large clean and airy. Bathroom a little cramped but clean and had all required amenities. Dining room food is ok. Nothing special but affordable prices. Excellent location.
This was a very short overnight stay when we were travelling between cities. Got a great deal but primarily it was booked for its location to the bus station due to our bus down south the following day. My expectations were very low but I...More
Although this hotel is well located, hotel is old and beginning to suffer. Rooms ok, dissapointing breakfast and uncomfortable gym. Staff at the front desk quite cold, please someone teach them how to smile
This hotel is incredibly well located. In a few minutes you can walk to Recova, where there are great restaurants under an overpass... three blocks further, you arrive at the upscale mall, Patio Bulrich. Another five minutes walk and you are in Recoleta.
Hotel is very well located, appears little outdated, but rooms are very big !
Breakfast is good and service personnel are very kind.
Wi-Fi quality can improve.
Overall is a very good hotel for price charged.More

Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with
ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.

We hired a taxi from one of the taxi companies that are inside the airport tucked in a corner. We were told the one just outside was more expensive. They all post their flat rate price in US dollars and Argentinian. We picked the lowest and prepaid with visa. I think it was about $30 US. It worked well.
