This hotel has aged beyond its use by date without grace Whilst the hotel enjoys a wonderful central location, it has no other redeeming features. The rooms, facilites, service and food are all below an acceptable standard yet it provides no value. Almost any other hotel would be a better choice.

Hotel is located adjacent to Calle Florida, BA's major pedestrian shopping street, and Galerías Pacífico, a beautiful, upscale shopping mall. The hotel lived up to all the expectations of the Sheraton brand: comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. We had a recently refurbished corner room on the club floor, which gave us access to the club lounge that had a... More

The hotel, although clean, is quite old and outdated. The service, however, was outstanding. The only reason why I would not recommend it is that out of the three hotels we stayed in during this trip, this was the priciest, yet the least attractive (and not very comfy). It would have been reasonably priced, then with the service and cleanliness... More

We stayed at the Libertador and there were many hotels close by that were better! We also stayed at the Hilton and Park Tower Sheraton - both of which were much better than the Libertador.

Modern, Clean hotel with updated appointments. Easy walking distance to Puerto Maduro restaurants and Metro stop and restaurants. Located on busy through street but not noisy inside room. Club Level rooms nice size and breakfast (continental and buffet daily) included. Staff was helpful but there was not a designated Concierge there. Did have trouble getting the offered discount we booked... More

We stayed here for 3 nights before an Antarctic cruise. Our travel agent had mistakenly booked a kingsize room instead of a twin. Although the hotel was full the very pleasant receptionist managed to switch our room. Room was comfortable, great shower and not at all noisy despite overlooking a very busy avenue. The breakfast room offered a wide choice... More

We stayed in the Sheraton Libertador for 4 nights in January 2010 and couldn't be happier. This is a good 4 star hotel at an affordable price (we were there in the high season and paid around 90 Euro/121 dollars a night). The location is perfect, in the middle of the center, close to the main Av. 9 de Julio... More

We stayed the first week of January with our SPG points. Being a Platinum member I had hope to get an upgrade, but the clerk said it was impossible. The room was small but ok. The food served downstairs was so so, but the breakfast served in the Club Lounge was good (being free I won't complain too much). All... More

Spent two nights, separated by a night in Iguasu, the last week of December. Starwood gold member, so stayed on 20th floor, free breakfast on the 21st floor. As well, the front desk staff was quite friendly and willing to make reservations and recommendations,... More

Neighbourhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub and migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theatre lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby.
